Jmikecpa
Anyone played either of these? I got invited to play them on back to back days in October but would have to get to east from LV to play. Worth the trip to get on these and play? Kenny B
Do it!! I haven't played them for obvious reasons, but from watching the competition between the pros at those two clubs over the years, the courses look fabulous. You might be able to meet and play with some of those pros, since October is the start of their down season. I wouldn't turn it down!!! “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”
Zylem
I played them quite a bit in college, last time being about ten years ago. Both are amazing courses but each is different. Isleworth is closer to a classic Florida style course with some tricky greens. On the other hand Lake Nona has tighter fairways, and a lot of trees. I was very fortunate to have a buddy whose grandfather lived at Isleworth and he loved to invite us out to play. If you do go do yourself a favor and check out the practice range at Isleworth it's is top notch. Also if you are a car nut check out the parking lot. Lol I seem to remember there always being quite a few super cars out there. The first time I was out there I got to meet Mark O'Meara. He was having lunch in the locker room, which has a golf simulator and half court basketball court inside. We were just wrapping up a morning round and had sat down for lunch. Mark comes up to our table and asks how the course is today and how our rounds went. Just a really nice guy and made an amazing experience even better. Jmikecpa
Thanks guys. I decided to go on this one despite the second day being my wedding anniversary and spending the first part of the week in Las Vegas (yes, another year gone by without winning husband of the year). Will let you know my thoughts after I play at both of them.
