If I didn't play when it was over 100*, I wouldn't play much during the summer.  It was supposed to be 102 today, but with all the smoke in the air from wildfires in the northwest this year, it only got to 92, but starting Saturday it's going to clear out and be 105 all through next week.  

 

Yes the drives go far, but the greens are dried out and the ball doesn't stop very well.

It's never too hot for golf....if I felt that way I would never get to play during the summer here, from June-mid September the heat index in the afternoon is always 100+ with many days being 110-120.

Played this morning before sunrise by 7:30 it was already warm. My sunglasses fogged up pretty bad.

 

Played on Tuesday as well that was later round and it was pretty bad too. I carry a little mister filled with ice water, I'd sprayed all over right before I take off on the cart each time. It was like air conditioning. Tomorrow and the day after would be the hottest so I'm gonna stay out of the course.

Better you than me - I hate playing in hot, humid weather. My ideal temp is around 70 - of course that doesn't happen too often in northern Ohio except in sept.

My favorite time for golf is from October- December. Nice cool air puts the pep back in my step 🏌️⛳️

Too hot for golf is like saying too drunk to fish.. Not sure that exists... It just means less people on the course.. 

 

Also be sure to stay HYDRATED.. Drink lots of fluids...

In south FL temps and humidity can get ridiculously high this time of year. For the first time ever I experienced heat stroke. The "feels like" was 109 that day. I'm just over 40, I am. In good shape and drink plenty of fluids, I know to be safe. Buy it came quickly and rocked me hard. One of the hardest things I had to do was pick my ball up and drive back to the clubhouse. It took me almost 2 days to fully recover.

 

So take care out there it really can come on strong and hit you hard.

There is such a thing as too hot. Over 90' with high humidity we're gone.

This is just sick sick here. Throw in 80 percent humidity and you are talking killer heat indexes.

 

I was only at the range. Hit 40 or do balls. Putted for twenty minutes and went home.

I have played with the index at 115, that's hot but I was playing golf so......

I seem to play better in hot weather. Just got back from a golf trip to Scottsdale where I dropped nearly a full point off my handicap. Most days on the course were 103-106, but my last day there I played in 110. Just make sure to hydrate before, during, and after!

Western Montana mid 80's less than 20% humidity sunny and well maintained courses. You can hit the ball out of sight here. Oh I should tell you the smoke from forest fires is the real hazards on our courses. Lol

It's a 3-ton Denali 4x4, that pulls a fully rigged bass boat weekly.

That number would be about 8 if it wasn't a hybrid.
