MattF
No I don't, but the club length is 45.5"...I've cut mine down 1". ETA: Just looked at Fujikura's site and the 2016 XLR8 Pro is 46" raw. Thanks but I wanted to cut the shaft, put the grip and adapter on then pop into the head without having to measure with the head attached. SLDR 10.5 Oban HB R11s Rip Phenom Ft. MattF
I see. Well, I'd go with 46" raw then, as that seems to be about what most of them are. Is there any harm in getting it in and measuring when you get it? I don't know that there'd be a problem unless you want to build the club to 48" or something like that. Thats not it, if I went with the 46" plus the adapter the club length would be over 46" long. SLDR 10.5 Oban HB R11s Rip Phenom Ft. MattF
OK, but you have to butt cut it for length anyway, so I'm not sure what you're trying to do. Every shaft that I've gotten to make clubs have come in raw, I tip them to stiffness, install, measure for length and cut. MattF
Correct, I was just trying to skip having to measure it with the head installed. You can't yourself mate, unless you dry fit everything first, but that's still needing the head. Golfworks can do it for an additional cost, but they have all the specs, heads etc to be able to. You can, just have to pop the shaft out and measure it Once I get it figured out I will note it for future reference. SLDR 10.5 Oban HB R11s Rip Phenom Ft. cnosil
I guess our confusion is we don't understand the need. Butt trimming and installing a grip is a quick process. My guess is you have ordered one and don't have it and are trying to prep a new shaft while waiting? Or you have the head and no adapter and want to do the trim and grip while waiting for the adapter. The need is I dont have a long enough ruler to measure with the head installed and dont trust doing it with a tape measure. Im sure I could come up with something that would work but thought it would be easier if someone knew the length. Have the head and the shaft and waiting on the adapter thanks to USPS losing the first one I ordered. SLDR 10.5 Oban HB R11s Rip Phenom Ft. MattF
OK, from the tip of the adapter to the end of the grip, mine is 43 3/4". But, I cut mine 1" shorter, so it should be 44 3/4" from the end to end with the adapter and the grip installed. Just remember that a grip adds 1/8" to the length, so if you measure with the grip uninstalled, take that 1/8" off.
