Stuck in the bag: What won't you update in 2018?

Was thinking about the state of the bag as the summer winds down and I realized that there are a bunch of clubs that I am not interested in swapping out next year. Curious what you have in the bag that will be persisting on into the 2018 season.

Here's my set:

Driver: PING G400 - Secure in bag

Fairways: Cobra F7 3W and 5W - Secure in bag

Hybrid: PING G - could go, not life changing

Irons: Mizuno JPX-EZ Forged - good, but could go - maybe G400

Wedges: Cleveland RTX-3 54/58 - Dig these a bunch, likely secure but may try CBX

Putter: Odyssey O-Works Red 7s- pretty locked which for a putter is a surprise

I'm pretty happy with the majority of my bag.

Things that may change are driver. However that's a yearly thing which I always have a eye to update.

Club between iron and 3 wood. Haven't really found that club which suits me well there.

3 wood (cobra f7) won't be going anywhere as it's the most consistent club in my bag.

Irons I'm very pleased with as well as my putter.

I have two sets up wedges which I love both so can complain there either!

The stuff in my signature is pretty much set. IF and I say a big IF I choose to play in a stipulated event I can swap out the 3 wedges with 3 conforming ones. I may switch the irons now and again when I want to play blades with modern woods and hybrids but mostly I see the 2013 Cally X Forged in the front line bag

I don't see any reason to switch a club out. But then again, I say that at the conclusion of most seasons. Will try my best to show some self control because I'm really happy with what I've got working right meow.

I switched all my irons and wedges to Ping ISI white dots last month and having a blast with them. Love the funky looking heads in my bag but the performance is where they shine. Such easy clubs to hit. I think they will be staying in the bag for awhile.

I'm very happy with my putting now that I moved to a face balanced design with the Zing 5. My Nicklaus Air Max 3-wood has been in the bag for 15 years and isn't going anywhere.

Driver and Hybrid are the only ??? In the bag right now. Maybe by spring I'll finally get a driver fitting for a G400. I'm not happy with the consistency of my hybrid and am considering replacing it with a 5 or 7 wood.

My fairway, hybrids, irons and wedges are all a lock.

The driver may be a bit shaky because of the Epic, Triton and F7, although a shaft change might alleviate that. The putter could be on shaky ground also because I have my eye on an Evnroll ER2.

The only other thing I'll be looking at is a Smart Sole S.

Right now, probably only one club guaranteed a spot in my 2018 bag.

Putter: Brainstorm Golf Happy Putter Blade V2

Thing feels so good in hand, and I am very confident even over that 10-15 foot range putt. I don't foresee it leaving my bag any time soon.  Everything else though, is on notice. Perform or get yanked.

Driver, hybrid, irons, and wedges will be in the bag for a while. Highly unlikely I change putters, and will be a similar PING if I get the itch.

The M2 3HL has not outperformed my XR Pro 16* to the point where I can comfortably get rid of it, so we'll see about that spot.

While funds may be a bit limited with wedding planning, I'll still elaborate.

Driver: XR16 - definitely open to new drivers

3 wood: Big Bertha V-Series - done me really well, but Cobra has some enticing stuff

Hybrid: Titleist 913H 17* - just got put in the bag so not secure just yet

Irons: WS D300s - after testing these I'm a really big fan, but always open to other options

Wedges: SM5s - my short game is where I excel and I really like my SM5s but if the SM7s come out I may pick up some cheap SM6s or try out some RTXs

Putter: Cleveland 2135 TFi Cero - I love this putter and it may be tough to kick it out of the bag, but if something outperforms it, you can't say no

Just got new irons and wedges so the bag is pretty well set for the future except for...

putter - might see what evnroll has in store next spring, especially if they come out in a dark finish.

Driver - my fitter gave me a Wishon 919THI to try out for the fall and the thing is a monster. Let's face it, it's already a keeper.

Whilst I'm happy with the majority of my bag, it's really only my wedges that need to be replaced (mostly because the grooves are wearing FAST!!) and maybe my putter.

I've got the Epic on the way this year, so it's probably going to stay in the bag throughout 2018.  My irons and wedges are usually pretty solid, so they'll probably stay as well as my putter that I've had for the last 7-8 years.  The only thing that may get switched out is my fairways woods.  I'm still hitting the X-Hot woods from several years back.  While I hit them really well for the most part, I may upgrade them just to upgrade them this year.  I'm not sure on that yet.

In my bag:

Callaway Epic Subzero with Aldila Rogue Max 75 Stiff shaft

Callaway Rogue Subzero with Project X Evenflow 6.0 75g stiff shaft

Callaway Rogue 3 Hybrid with Aldila Synergy 60 HYB stiff shaft

Callaway Apex irons (4-PW) with True Temper XP 95 stiff shafts
