The matchups haven't yet been determined but I figured I'd start this thread because there's a chance my match will end up being Monday. For those unfamiliar, here's the cliff notes on my league rules:

 

- Team matches (6-8 golfers each team)

- 1v1 18-hole matches

- Match and stroke play simultaneous

- *No hole max score no conceding holes

- *Gimmes in play

- *Possibility of 2 points in each match

- *Handicap adjusted

- 2 points for overall holes won

- 2 points for overall net strokes

 

 

 

We won this league last year and hold the Stanley Cup of golf trophies. We made the playoffs this year as the 5 seed and clobbered the 4 seed in the play-in match. I was on travel and didn't play. Now we get to beat the 1 seed in the semis. I'll post the pairings once they come out.

 

 

Here's the course layout for those interested. We play from the blue tees at 6419 yards. I didn't do a full course sheet but the greens on 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 14, and 17 have multiple distinct tiers. The rest have some decent slope to them.

So I'll be giving Bill a stroke on the 8th and 16th holes and must beat him by 2 shots overall.

 

 

Should be a great week since most of the matchups are pretty even.

Looking to be a decent day out on the course. The wind should make things interesting as we get a piece of Jose.

 

It'll help me a little on 2, 4, 7, 8, 9, 13, and 18

 

1, 3, 5, 10, 11, 14, 15, and 16 will have a cross breeze.

 

 

6, 12, and 17 will play considerably longer/harder and are going to be bears to get through since they will face directly into the wind and are holes I historically have problems with. Great day to hit it low!

Edit: This was the only slow green. Probably due to the rain. Overall, the greens were pretty darn fast and rolled smooth. Finally recovering from aeration.
