Light weight Driver shafts

Recommended Posts

Let me start with what I play at the moment I play the Aldila rogue silver I/0 stiff torque 3,3 I have it chopped down one inch in my Epic sub-zero.

here in the damp humid cold UK weather and no run, i hit an average of 250-260 the odd big one at 270.

I borrowed a Fujikura speeder evolution 565 Xtra stiff it`s lighter softer and I`m hitting it much further I put this down to the lighter weight enabling me to generate more speed.

Now I have noticed Fujikura have released the Platinum Speeder  50 X it quite light and looks the nuts but so does the price tag.

Are there any reviews out there I can't find any.

Anyone of you guys using one??

I can't deal with a light shaft in my driver. I'm much more consistent with a 70+ gram shaft. The Matrix Ozik 70 gram in my Cobra F6 driver is the best combo I have ever gamed.
