My question is how much better is the new 360 version versus the generation one? Used Gen 1 sets can be had pretty cheap on eBay....just wondering if it's worth the extra $125-150 for the 360 version. TSauer Posted September 22, 2017 Share Posted September 22, 2017 I have looked into this, and I've decided the minor upgrades to 360 is not worth the price. The Gen 1 sensors are a little larger and they use Bluetooth. The 360 version uses your microphone and a gyroscope. I've heard that the Gen 1 picks up shots better. I think the major change was to help with battery life on your phone. Also read that it hasn't changed much. Gen 1 uses batteries, so you can replace them when they die (which I've never had to do yet). 360 uses sensors, so if a tag goes bad you have to get a new sensor. I also heard that you can't listen to music via Bluetooth at the same time you're using the 369 version, small annoyance for those who use Bluetooth headphones or something of that nature. IMO, the Gen 1 is worth every penny. I don't think I will upgrade, unless there's a really really good deal. What I mean by that is I have the 360 version sensor in my F7 driver, so can I run that for the driver and run Gen 1 sensors for everything else? Since there are no holes for the sensor in the grip of the driver....I'd just have to change the grip on it. Straight from Arccos concerning whether or not you can use the sensor with the Gen 1: Yes, you'll need to pair the Cobra Connect sensor separately in the Arccos 360 app but the sensors will work congruently. Factory sealed in a new box and not a mark on the sensors....pretty good for $44 bucks! Can't wait to give them a try. Oh and FYI, I ended up regripping my driver with GP MCC Plus 4 in grey to match what I ordered on my new Cobra clubs.
