Boy, do I feel like a right idiot for saying the Internationals were going to win. Unreal performance by the USA and helped by the poor performance from the Internationals. What happened to Matsuyama in the last quarter of the year?

Too many young talented Americans right now. A interesting era in American golf coming up.

If Hoffman/Chappel had won, the Cup would have been USA's today.  If you were on the International team, would you want to play tomorrow?  I wouldn't.

Really good golf out there, unfortunately it is being played by one team and not the other, I really haven't seen any of the international team guys play well except for maybe Oosty. There are some talented guys on the international team as well, they have played horribly this week. And it seems everyone on the US team is playing well.

I think it helps that most of these guys are really good friends and have grown up playing with and against each other for many years already, they know each other's games and its showing this week.

Yes, and the fact that he is a long way from home and his culture weeks and months at a time. An american in japan would be hard pressed to play as well as he has against this level of competion week in and week out there, with everything from a different language to strange food being the norm. No doubted he's catered to but it's no surprise he was wilted as the year has progressed and hats off to him for a great year all around.

So the only suspense today is who gets the winning point. Now I honestly haven't looked at the pairings yet, getting home so late last night.

 

My guess: I think it would be cool to put a couple of the rookies. Hoffman and Berger out early to give them a chance to get the clinichijg point. After that it doesn't matter obviously. Not sure I'd be wanting to play in that 12 th match. I'm sure there will be some money games going on todsy for sure!

No way! He's ageless. I'll bet he can contribute to the US teams well into his fifties. President's and Ryder included. He's got some special abilities that make him an excellent partner and a personality that can glue a team together.

It was a quiet crowd today. I do have to say if I knew they were closing the Holland Tunnel for the trip back I would have stayed home and watched it on TV. We were in the tent on the 9th green with a full view of #10, #11 tee and #3 tee. Great views and kids had a blast but 4 hours Home was a bit much.
