Who? ME! I had plenty of nice fall weather growing up in North Carolina, warm during the day and a little chill in the air at night. Especially friday right lights and some high school football games. But here in Chicago we went from 90* to the 40's almost overnight. Been cold the last two weeks with wind chills in the 20's and of course, no golf. I can see beautiful leaves in movies or paintings, so give me sunshine and warm enough weather to play some golf. I have always played all winter long as long as there isn't snow. Bundle up, walk briskly; my game is not all that different from playing in polo shirt and shorts. SO what does that tell you about my swing? With that said... tony@CIC
I played well today in spite of the cold and wet course. It has rained for the past three days and it was cart path only. Peaksy68
Yesterday I dropped in to play a quick 9 at the local club in the town I grew up in, but have spent very little time in over the last 25 years. I'd looked at playing at another club in the neighbouring town, but it was closed due to it hosting the State Senoir PGA championship. The headline players were Ian Baker-Finch and Peter Senior. As I was hitting a few putts on the practice green, a kid who was chipping a few balls started talking to me. He would have been around 13/14. He said (very excitedly) "I went to the Senior PGA, and I bought a ball to see if I could get it signed by IBF. He said put that one away, I'll sign one of mine for you" The kid was over the moon. Great work by IBF, this young bloke will love the game even more after that. This was in the middle of a series of great moments on a memorable day. tommc23, Golfspy_CG2, MattF and 6 others 9 Quote 849 Pro Evenflow Riptide 6.0 F8 3 & 5 Woods Project X Evenflow Blue 6.0 TS2 7 Wood Project X Evenflow Blue 6.0 MP18 MMC - Project X LZ 5.5 Zipcore Wedges 50,54,58 - Project X LZ 5.5 MLA Tour Mallet 33" Z Star Pioneer bag buggy

STUDque
God I've been constantly refreshing eBay over the past week. Most of my listings had watchers but only a fraction actually got bids, then two of those didn't pay. Now I've got them relisted for another week. I know patience is the name of the game with eBay but it's tough when I'm trying to get a f7 hybrid with the proceeds AND get it in play this year while the weather is nice. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy Isn't it refreshing when you can promote a comment from the Rant Thread to Happy Thread? Follow up time. After my third week of listing items, I've sold all the high ticket items for amounts that please me and am just left with the scraps. Best of all, the items I didn't get paid for sold for more money on the relist. Oh Happy Day!
