I had the time of my life yesterday at the range with my 5 year old grandson. Everybody who was there stopped at some point to watch him swing. It's just awesome watching them develop. Enjoy it, man!

I am, I'm trying to get my oldest into it, she can crush the ball. But doesn't like how long golf takes. A my littlest dude will be a golfer too. He must hit 200 foam balls a day.

 

So out of 5 I will at least have 2 lifetime golfing buddies. Not bad.

My 12yo is about to start his second PGA Jr season and he absolutely loves it. Some of my best times are on the course with him and my father.

Just stopped by the course. There was a sign in the window that said OPEN!! The range is open this week, and they are hoping to have both 9's ready to go by Saturday!

Let me add to the joy of playing with our kids.

 

I love getting up in the morning, and after I'm ready, I find my son (5) already in the basement on the putting green. I make a cup of coffee and putt with him for some time before heading to the office.

 

I also get to listen to his unceasing play-by-play, as he's narrating the putting of an intense US Open final in which Jordan and Rickie are pulling ahead of the pack (he plays as every golfer). Also in contention this morning: Jason Dufner and Ian Poulter. Go figure.

Funny story - went there for the first time about 2 weeks ago and when we got on JetBlue to return back to NYC the pilot asked if everyone was feeling okay.  Of course everyone was bummed to be leaving so he said we all came down with a case of P.A.D.S. and that there is no cure.

 

(P)ost (A)ruba (D)epression (S)yndrome !!

 

I am in week 2 of PADS and a return trip is the ONLY cure.

Yep, we've been going down every other year for the last 15 years but missed the last few years so really looking forward to it more than usual. Already in the Aruba mindset so work this week is shot for me, lol...
