I find myself wishing I’d hit the sand more often around the green, just for fun. I’ve been practicing bunker (beach) stuff more this year. Popular Post PMookie
Very happy! We were in Philly for my niece’s wedding this past weekend, and Tuesday morning, at home, I go to my backpack to grab my laptop to start working........... It wasn’t in there! I look ALL over the house, and car. Nowhere to be found. Now, I cover 8 states for work and this is my lifeblood to reach surgeons, hospitals, surgery centers, co-workers, etc. It hits me........ I left my laptop and iPad Mini in the rear cargo hold of the Nissan Pathfinder we rented! It was in PHILLY! Have any of y’all tried to get in-touch with the ACTUAL rent-a-car location? It’s next to impossible with National. I text my sister, who lives an hour-and-a-half North of Philly. She’s off and says she can go to the airport.Of course, the car is not there, AND it’s rented through SATURDAY. It’s Tuesday... I gotta work! My sister gets me on the phone with the lost-and-found person at the location. She reaches out to the renter to ask him to check the vehicle for my items. At 7pm I get a call. The laptop and iPad are in the cargo hold!!!!The agent then goes to MEET the renter yesterday around 3pm, and FedEx’s my stuff to me!!! I got them today at noon!!!!Wooooooo-hooooooo!!!I’m sending the agent a card with a check in it for her effort in getting my items back. Wow. It’s where I learned the game.Well, Grandpa still plays but said he didn’t today because he had multiple Memorial Day services to attend. He said he hopes to play in a scramble tomorrow. Many thanks to fellow Spy @cnosil for the tickets, and for all the hard work he and his fellow volunteers did in putting on a great event. By the way, the LPGA players are awesome about signing, especially for kids. They are phenomenal ambassadors of the game. If you have an opportunity, go see them play. Once my son graduated BCT there and left for Pope, I decided to share my knowledge and wisdom with new parents. I love helping calm their fears and help them with questions that they may have.
