Happy thread

Had a real nice quick road trip with my daughter.  Picked her up in Eugene and stopped at  Wildlife Safari in Winston.  From there we went to Bandon for lunch and a quick drive through of Bandon Dunes. Off to Brookings for the night and dinner at our favorite pizza joint, Zolas. Caught a Christmas light show in a park that night in Brookings that was an absolutley amazing light show. A must do if in the area during the holidays.   Up in the morning to the Redwoods for a hike and explore a few places weve camped at that she didnt really remember. Im always in awe at those gigantic treed.  Made our way back to Eugene via a few antique stores. Buddy called me on the road  and had UO mens basketball tickets that night  so we met at my daughters apartment which is next door to the arena and walked over. Kid usually plays at the game but she is on break so she stayed home.
Just nice to catch up on each others life since she has been non-stop since September with school, music, band, and work. 

Love, love, love this! My kids are grown too and time with them is so great. I love talking to them and hearing their dreams and helping them fulfill them is the best. Thanks for sharing and congrats on a great trip.

Getting back into it! I don't know what happened but I got the Yips really badly this summer and just quit golf. I played 32 rounds from Jan-June and only 10 rounds from June-Now.

 

However, it helped. I fell back in love with it. Just got registered at a local golf academy and starting from scratch. Can already tell a significant difference and hoping to head into 2020 strongly.

After these past 2 weeks I’m very happy with my choice.

Worked our butts off through some adversity... got to the victory lap today, and something out of our control is happening. Might have to do this crap all over again.

Decatur is my hometown. Moved back here in 2000 after 23 years in the Marine Corps.  Have friends who work at ULA.

Finally ventured to the dark side and crossed the bridge to NJ to have lunch at Donkey’s Place. I was a bit apprehensive to buy into the hype but a solid cheesesteak that jumped immediately into my top 5.



Even my three kids enjoyed them. Complete dive joint but worth the trip for the experience.

Just saw my first Masters Commercial watching the Rose Bowl... can’t wait!

Fun seeing how busy my daughter has been in Cali at the Rose Bowl wirh the Duck Marching Band. She played on ESPN Sportscenter LA,  played at Disneyland, marched in Rose Parade and saw a heck of a game.
