Completely outside of my career field.

But I think we are going to name him Bosun. Going to get a few odd looks from the actual “Bosun’s” at work... but it’s a cool name.

I tried for Han, Lando, Finn, Luke, Yoda... no joy.

Working on Bosun Burk Eight so I can sneak a few BB8’s in there.

Almost have all the details worked out for the new job. I had a few last questions that we discussed today, and I feel 100% confident in my choice. Looking forward to mid June.

Absolutely cannot wait, less stress will be welcomed! And training right off the get go, before I even start.

Just so you know... my sister-in-law's best friend was a Camp; the wife of the owner of Camp Chevrolet in Spokane WA.  Jerry was a very good golfer and sponsored the annual Chicken Hawk Classic golf tournament (yes, the chicken hawk from the Foghorn Leghorn cartoon).  My favorite hat... I have several.

Today my son, Connor, is a teenager. Sometimes I didn't think he'd make it because I'd kill him, but so far so good!  He's a pretty good kid but a typical tweenager...doesn't listen, at all. But, he's a good student, so he has that going for him.

I remind my son regularly that I never thought he'd make it to 21 (because I'd kill him). Today he's an awesome young man so I can relate.

Yup, we have twin 46 year old daughters. One of them I figured I would end up in jail over. Both of them turned out awesome. The problem “child” is a well respected teacher and mother, who knew

My oldest son is about a month into Ballet lessons.

Today he tells me he wants to be a professional ballet dancer and yoga instructor.

First order of business he said “dad, you need to learn some moves to help you with your golf swing.”

Here I am learning ballet from an 11 year old this evening, working on some sort of jump 360 spin thing and some stretching I didn’t know my body could do....

Yoga or Pilates before golf had an incredible effect on my game. I would highly recommend. I’d also recommend couples yoga

I'm 100% on the yoga before golf - big difference in flexibility. I also incorporate a dynamic warmup - sit-ups, push ups and squats.

Now as to Allen's ballet moves ..hmmm...maybe a bridge too far for me.

No worries. Any and all video evidence of me performing a “ballet” will never leave the confines of this house... I hope.

But I know I have to support my kids, and to break the ice I have to be a goof ball to get him to show me his ballet, he was a little shy about it still... now that the ice is broken he is the master and I am just an apprentice, going to wear me out.

Flights on Jet Blue thanks to me hitting it to 8 inches at a tournament last year, rooms thanks to my prior life in the road and two days of golf thanks to my relationship with Troon Golf. My wife is impressed with my budget for this trip. My rental car was a big expense.
