Caught this monster today.



Otherwise I was skunked...

Had a trout take a bite but I couldn’t set it. Saw a bunch of larger rainbows. It’s like when you shoot a good score but left a couple out there. Can’t wait to go back next week!

Sounds like a fun day, that monster looks like he put up a fight! They're actually very fun to catch on a light action rod and 4 lb test. Good luck catching those rainbows, I've always had a problem with them. I think they might be smarter than I am. We used to go fish the river for them, my dad and brother used to catch them all day while all I did was slip on rocks and fall down.

BAHHH I gotta bring my son, brothers and dad out to the canal in the cape. Its striper season and boy those suckers are fun to catch...even better grilled.

I’m pretty pumped right now.  @Lacassem and I just signed our oldest kids up for a little golf camp and both boys are stoked.  My son has been wanting to get out a play (always wants to hit the foam balls in the yard) and I know Mark’s son is excited too.  

I figure its best for him to learn about the game from someone who is not his parent and then we can go from there.  It’s only 4 days so I’m guessing he’ll be itching for some range time and with any luck maybe he’ll get his first 9 hole round in by the end of the summer.

On top of that my Brother caught the golfing bug hard on our annual trip this year and has been to the range 4 or 5 times since we got back.  He’s also going to take some group lessons and get his swing working for him.  He’s Sheldon cooper levels of stiff so I’ve given him some drills and thoughts to get his body loosening up but I know an actual instructor would know best.

This is only slightly exagerating my brothers current lack of flexibility:

Lastly, a little birdie informed us that our #CobraConnect Challenge orders got sent in today

Got lucky that was a good find. (MY son) Matt was very disappointing his other golf camp got cancelled the week before that so this really brought his spirits up. Dad can only teach so much lol

We had to be out of our house in 30 days so we were scrambling.

That's awesome @tony@CIC! Looks like a wonderful place to be moving to and congratulations on being able to sell your house. I'd have a hard time not sneaking over after hours and honing my short game at a place like that.
