Otherwise I was skunked...

Had a trout take a bite but I couldn’t set it. Saw a bunch of larger rainbows. It’s like when you shoot a good score but left a couple out there. Can’t wait to go back next week!

Love it!

You gonna mount em?

Dude. That is terrible. Now I have to wear gloves while typing and stapling stuff together. emoji15.png

I worked in printing for 14 years and that makes my skin crawl, and I've had some good paper cuts. I think the worst was  the cover stock we used for the Mull's singing convention books. After being cut through the three knife, that stuff was razor sharp.411tHAmr5QL._AC_SY400_.jpg.b5cbcd94ec724988087efe7901611a93.jpg

No kidding! I worked in a veneer mill. Getting sliced every day by paper thin wood is no joke. 1/50th was the worst. Like maple razor blades.

Gloves weren’t mandatory, but after a week or so of getting destroyed I wore them every day after that.

That's a condo????
Congratulations!!!  Your own outdoor putting green.

Thanks. Yeah it's a 4 plex. 2 on the street side and 2 on the course side. All 4 are single story so no stairs - a big change from our current house that has 3 floors.

That's awesome tony@CIC! Looks like a wonderful place to be moving to and congratulations on being able to sell your house. I'd have a hard time not sneaking over after hours and honing my short game at a place like that.

Yeah I'll be keeping a lob wedge and a bucket of balls by the front door

No stairs... very important for people our age!!  That was one of the main criteria when we were looking for our house last fall.  However, we do have 2 steps getting to the front door and into the house from the garage and patio.  A concession we had to make because the house checked all the other boxes on our list.

Well about a month or so ago I think it was a discussion was talked about smoking on the course. Well I am a dipper. Not just the course but every day. Get in the car? Dip. Get to work? Dip. Usually go an hour or so without one in between and toss another one in. Been like that for a long time probabky since I was about 19 or so. Golf course I would always, always have one in pretty much the whole round, toss one out another in.
Well while I don’t agree with it Massachusetts on June 1 banned all flavored tobacco products. That includes my mint grizzly. Had some prior to June 1 and I am sure there are stores I could still get it that have some stock but A little over 2 weeks ago went cold turkey. I have been through 2 golf rounds and 2 range sessions without any. To and from work where I would throw one in every...single...time I got in the car, we’ll have not had one there either.

its brutal sometimes as I am sure Some of you know. Getting there though. That thread helped realizing how many of gone 🥶 🦃 so thank you.

Happy and sad, my oldest son “Graduated” from preschool today. With the closures and such they couldn’t do a real ceremony like they wanted to but the center’s owner came out and presented Jackson with his diploma and little gift. Not sure where the last few years went, but he will be starting Kindergarten in the fall!

Ahh yes. The common redfish. One day when fully grown it will become a delicious treat that children love to consume.

Well after a few weeks of hobbling around with crutches, I can now walk on my own 😍. In fact I feel so good I am going to the driving range tomorrow to start hitting a few balls.

It's great to hear you're back on your feet! No pun intended. Being down like that is rough and learning to walk again is no joke. Have fun at the range tomorrow and let us know how you do.

I thought he was referring to the size.......not really a fish but probably better referred to as bait.  🙂
