That is what a friend of mine told me.  Shot #1, no problemo... shot#2 hit him hard with achy joints and zero energy for almost two full days 😬.  Maybe I'll wait for the J&J recipe.

The day after you feel like garbage it’s like nothing ever occurred. Your back to normal or at least for most it goes that way!!

I'll let you know tomorrow.   Had my second shot today.  Tents set up at the fairgrounds; shot given by an Air Force women in fatigues.  It hurt... jab and plunge in one motion.  I got out of there before the 35-45 mph winds hit.  I haven't heard that they closed it up, but I'm not sure how those tents would hold up.

I highly recommend Speed Queen washers.  They are old fashioned and actually use water & an agitator while cleaning the clothes.  We had a water saver style that rolled the clothes and I had times I brushed dirt off my work pants taking them out of the washer....I hated that thing.

The Speed Queen has an econo setting for low water use if you have a light load but it also has a deep fill option that gets used for my work clothes and it works!

Ditto on the Speed Queen.  A little over a year ago we bought our new(er) house, and we asked the previous owners to leave all the appliances.  They were building a new house, so likely wanted new anyway.  Our old appliances stayed at our old house.  Our old washer and dryer was actually quite new Samsungs without the agitator.  I'm not sure how energy saving it was because the normal cycles were over an hour long.  Our new house has older Speed Queens W/D and while the capacity is less, they do a great job.

When we saw the previous owners after they moved into their new house, the one appliance they said they regret leaving with us was the Bosch dishwasher.  They bought another Bosch, but said it's not as good as ours.  We love it too!!  We didn't have one at our old house; it sure beats Kenny B getting dishpan hands!!

We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

Got my first vaccine dose this morning (I’m on an immunosuppressant drug)

feels great and cannot wait to get my 2nd dose in 3 weeks

Congratulations!!  Hope you have better experience than I had.  First shot, was a sore arm for 3 days.  Not bad.  I'm in my 2nd day of my 2nd shot;  arm sore (about the same), achy all over, slight fever.  I'm not complaining because I've talked to people that had it worse.  Hope I feel better tomorrow... 9:46 tee time!!

2nd shot of Moderna today.  No ill effects since the shot 10 hours ago.  Arm's a tad bit sore mainly at the entry point of the needle, but not to the point of impairment in any capacity.  I had no effects from the first shot except for a slight pain at the injection site.  I did skip playing today as scheduled, but that was more to the rain and lower 40 temps.  Supposed to play tomorrow, but the forecast appears to be more of the same.

My wife, on the other hand, had her first shot yesterday.  She felt a bit wonky all day yesterday and again today with improvement throughout the day.  Of course, she feels effects from one aspirin, so.....

My wife on the other hand had a really bad headache the entire day after her 2nd shot, and some chills like she had a fever. I told her it's because she never played outside as a kid and she's a weaksauce zoomer 😂

I’m 39, wife 38, both of us Moderna and both were body aches and yuck the day after the 2nd.

My parents are in their mid-late 60’s and both were Moderna. Following the second dose they each said they felt fine.

It looks like there is a certain window among 25-45 yo who seem to have the most significant immune responses and based upon what Dr. Gottlieb and Fauci have said that is a good thing!

We adopted this little love bug 3 days ago and it’s like she’s always been here. My kids are over the moon with her, all she wants to do is play for 5-10 mins then cuddle with you for an hour.

I am taking 1,3, and 8. With those options most of the others can happen or aren’t relevant. For example I’ll pass on 300 yard drives if I can hit every green. Then no three putts eliminates anything worse than par and lost balls unless I am a horrible putter and putt into a hazard.

I am just too analytical

I'm going with 1,3,5

1) Perfect weather   YES

2) Don't like beer

3) Hit all Greens   YES

4) Course all to myself... Happens every Sunday

5) Hole in one YES  "Got to get out of that other thread"

6) Double Bogey free,  don't get many doubles. But a hole in one would give me a free one!

7) 300 yards, doesn't matter if I'm hitting all the greens

8 No three putts, it's not often I three putt

9) No lost balls, don't loose many balls.

Had a service appointment for the cart this morning, no golf. It sounded like the clutch was making “metallic” noises maybe broken spring. Yup, broken snap ring which caused a bit of havoc to the tune of $250. Lucky it still under warranty so N/C and had a loner cart for the day.
Yamaha has 5 years warranty on new purchase carts and it’s 4 years old.

Received this email today. It's a good sign - this course drains incredibly and is always the first to open but it means we're close!

So I got lucky yesterday. Sunday I was washing my car and in northeast Ohio are round departments use a lot of salt and brine for the roads. It’s fair to say we get a buildup of road grime on our cars. Needless to say I was washing to see how much I could expunge with a power washer and microfiber rag knowing in a month or so I will need to claybar and wax. I was going about my rear bumper when I noticed their was some water between my clear coat and paint. Go figure I out a little pressure on it and the clear coat chipped. Now I’m steaming a little, try to do a good deed and clean your car and it bites you in the butt. Monday morning I call the body shop who has done some work for me in the past taking out a dent and scratch  because of others who don’t like to pay attention or value their personal belongings. The manager comes out and starts to give me a quote but he tries telling me in the past someone had repainted my bumper and the clear coat needs to be stripped so I’m starting to see major solar signs. He even goes as far to say that it might be cheaper to get a new bumper and paint it. Needless to say I remind him they took out a few scratches from the bumper 2 years ago. Between the bunper and rear quarter panel their is a spot where it must have rubbed over time from some friction or a stone hit it and took the paint off right down to the plastic, likely allowing the clear coat to be exposed over time allowing moisture in. The wheels start turning in the managers head, mask or no mask this look was priceless. This body shop you pay a little extra but everything is full warranty unless you have an accident or personal fault for failure. Needless to say it was no fault of mine and my car bumper will be fixed at no cost, new clear plastic scratch protector at my trunk and all!

A while back the company I work for merged with another company.  We're both top companies to work for prior to the merger and the new company has been really working to keep that going.  They worked to take the best of both companies benefits and comp plans and really gave us a great package of stuff, especially considering COVID  (I have no more medical premiums taken out of my check, they cover 100%!!! -and the plan was basically the same as we had, no change in doctors either.)
The only downside for me personally has been the 90 mile round trip commute before everyone began working from home.  We're still not going back anytime soon, but its looking like I'm going to be able to be a 100% remote employee going forward.  I just took an internal transfer to fill in a spot from the other company which is based in Florida.  So now that my boss, and the rest of the team sits there it makes sense that I would be able to be fully remote, or not go in to the office nearly as much.  Who knows... maybe I'll get to travel to Florida a few times each year! That's never a bad thing for a golf fan.
At any rate, it was an awesome opportunity for me to take and a chance to really propel myself forward with my experience as our two company's continue to transition our systems and reporting.

So, do you think you’ll get to Tampa? If so, we can def set up some MGS rounds.
