Popular Post Tom the Golf Nut
Proud dad moment. My daughter came in third place in the heptathlon for the 18 year old division. This meet included all the surrounding states in the competition. She qualified to go to the Junior Olympics in Houston. It will be a great experience for her. I don't know why it's in Houston in August. These kids are gonna die in that heat on an outside track. Last time it was there they had to water the track because the surface temperature was 120 degrees and the first runners got burn blisters on their feet through the track shoes. I really can't wait till she goes off to college in August. Not that I want her to leave home, but because the college would now be paying to get her to all these meets. Sports is like a money pit until your out of High School and travel teams. Three plane tickets, hotel for a week, rental car, and meals. Adds up when you are doing it every month. Her qualifying was this past week. Wednesday through Saturday all out of town staying in a hotel. At least it was only 1-3/4 hours away. Close enough to drive every day but when they want you warmed up and on the track by 8 am it doesnt work. So, more hotels and eating out. If she didn't make it the next meet was in Vegas in two weeks. At least I can be grateful for not having to go to Vegas. cnosil, GolfSpy_SHARK, ejgaudette and 11 others 14 Quote Driver, TSi 1 S Flex 3 wood, Aerojet Max UST Helium Nanocore R Flex 5 wood, Aerojet Max UST Helium Nanocore R Flex 7 Wood, Aerojet Max UST Helium Nanocore R Flex 5 Hybrid King Tec MMT R Flex Irons, Tour UST Recoil 95 R Flex (6 - Gap) Wedges, Snakebite KBS Hi- Rev2.0 54* & 60* Agera 35" Ultralight 14-way Cart Bag

Popular Post PMookie
I am SO stoked! Yesterday I bought tickets for my 17 year old’s very first concert!!! My son LOVES music, choir, and plays, and he really came to love the singing of one of this year’s American Idol contestants, Willie Spence. So, I looked-up on the internet to see if Willie has a tour, and sure enough, he does! Bought tickets for the Atlanta show, including the “meet-and-greet”. My son is going to crap his pants!!! I can’t wait to see his face when we tell him. The show isn’t until August, so it’s gonna be tough to hold-on to the news. So stoked. I’ll be with him at his first concert.
