fixyurdivot
ZX5's are back in the bag and I was able to get the first 27 holes in with the revised swing weight yesterday. You can place me squarely in the group that can feel the difference in 2-3 swing weight points. They feel better. I'll be interested to see if I note any changes to my baseline (as originally built) swing and ball speed using my SC200. She only had 1 semester her freshman year up at a different school, then home with us for a year and half due to the pandemic. So now she's at her dream school, living in a gorgeous converted brownstone in a quiet neighborhood, and already has plans to audition for a few orchestras and dance teams. I'm excited for her. BostonSal
Russtoherb's daughter only missed me by a few decades at BU. [My loss, not hers, God bless her.] They gave me a diploma because it was cheaper than giving me a pension, I used to go all year round. I'd find some summer courses that I "needed" in order to avoid having to get a summer job. Then it was golf at the George Wright or betting the ponies at Suffolk Downs. Bleacher tickets at Fenway were $1, not twenty as they are now. Occasionally, I even made it to class. I am genuinely surprised that mom didn't opt for a late term abortion, say eighteen or twenty years after birth. That's blessedly all in the past, along with the clay pots in the window where recreational herbs would grow in the sunlight. My very best wishes to your little girl, russtoherb, and I know just by looking at her that she'll do a lot better than I did. Shankster
Think I’m going to still play, as long as the doc lets me. But… I’m going to make every hole a par 3 till the shoulder cools off. Let’s see if I can hack it without wanting to give it up completely. Like I mentioned in the left dot thread… probably do 175 and in, I can punch a driver that far with a little chip shot with some roll. Could be fun, but I bet I get a lot of odd looks. Half swings are good to go pain wise, just have to make sure I’m not turning the stuff inside into something that resembles hamburger. kardboard.kid, artful_golfer, MattF and 6 others 8
