As soon as it warms up… I’m going to go play.  Took about 30 full swings today, and I’m good to go.  Elbow is still a little sore in the morning, but overall it is 1000% better than it was.

Cue more of the what equipment is Shankster thinking about posts.

That’s great to hear!  Stay on top of it…ice, stretching, etc.

Good news.  Doc said I don’t need the Rabies series.

Better news.  It’s 50° next week.

You know what that means…

So I just got word today I got picked up for Army War College; I’ll be assigned to Carlisle Barracks in Carlisle, PA.  I’ll report in July and only be there a year (no idea where after that), but it puts us 4 hours away from family in Erie so we’re pretty happy.

More importantly, anyone else here in that area?  Or, have the gouge on golf in that neck of the woods near Harrisburg?  @Golfspy_CG2, looks like I’ll be less than 2 hours from Compass Pointe!

Congrats!  That’s awesome!

Heading back to Florida for spring break.  Have to scope out Bubba’s candy shop again, and find a nice course to play.

And… my wife said she wants to go to St. Augustine on the way… Oh man, such a bummer that it is out of the way by a hour.

I do not know what could be there… can’t wait to see the WGHOF.

Pine trees!!!!! I hate pine trees. So hard to get the sap out of my dimples. I pray that you have a great round!

Well, with the frozen water on the ground is going to push this back… but I though you might enjoy that large water feature.  There’s some pine trees on the left, out of frame.

I received the official thumbs up for a customer golf outing to Kiawah in Mid April.  Looking forward to trying my hand at the Ocean Course especially after Phil won it last year.  As a fellow lefty, he's always been my favorite player even if some of his antics are a bit out there at times.

Going to be a really fun golf year.  On top of the above at Kiawah, I'm taking a buddies trip to Arcadia Bluffs in mid May this year.  Hoping, we can luck out with a few nice days at that time of year.

Reverted back to the one plane deal automatically.  I haven’t hit that many straight drives in a row.  I’m only at about 75% speed, and I can’t hit my irons… could be the muck I was hitting off.

I think it’s time to get a little help in the long iron game… and maybe add a few hybrids towards the top.

I've recently added pickleball (aka tennis for geriatrics) to my activities list.  It's actually really fun in the doubles format and provides a pretty good cardio workout.  It's something I've thought about doing but just never did.  I use to play tennis and ping-pong; so it seems to come pretty natural.  Our winter community (like almost all in the area) have a pretty sizeable group that plays and the Del Webb community we're looking to buy a home has something on the order of 20 courts and three player divisions... they get pretty serious about it.

"Keep moving or start rusting" is an idiom that has long stuck with me.

Pickleball is HUGE in FL.  I wanted to give it a go a while back but SWMBO reminded me that I have no cartilage left in my knees.

Have fun!!

Pickle ball was one of my favorite gym rotations back in high school.  It’s a ton of fun!

2 of our Granddaughters are HS Seniors in CT. and both play HS Varsity Tennis.  When they visited us this summer they were “all over” Pickelball.  Got them a Guest Pass so they could try it.
Not sisters, cousins but act like sisters.
