True.  I guess I need to be humbled.  Been rocking a 4.0 for quite some time... the class is part of my major, I wouldn’t care so much if it was a general education class, but to drop the ball on what I am going to college for is a bit frustrating... and all my fault, although I did read the instructions 5-6 times to make sure I did it correctly... guess not.

I don't see the 14 day quarantine being lifted any time soon. Unfortunately, one of the key pillars of our ability to pretty much shut covid down has been the quarantine. It's not ideal, but it's been very effective.

I know, just wishful thinking. Our 50th is out for next year, so we're thinking Summer 2022.

My state has just recorded 28 days with no new covid cases. No active cases.  Technically it means we have eradicated the virus here, but precautions are still in place, although they are being eased over time

Found and cut down our tree today. There is something extremely therapeutic about Xmas lights.

I’m going to have to get a parking lot tree this year... not very happy about that...

On the flip side of that, I am happy that I don’t have to walk around looking for a tree for 3 hours.  But I guess that is part of the fun.

Took 7 years of on and off running, but I finally hit the 1,000 mile mark.  Pretty excited for the next few thousand.

My wife and I have had real Christmas trees for decades and I agree - nothing better than the smell and the ambiance of a tree in the living room.

This will be a weird Christmas for us this year. We're heading back to Ohio next week so we can quarantine for 2 weeks before we can see our new grandson for Christmas. We're heading back to Florida the following morning. So no Christmas tree here this year.

Well glad you get to travel and get a visit! Worth not having a tree for that.

we swapped to fake last year, our space is just not conducive to what I like to get in a tree. Little tighter in our living room and my allergies would just flare up, also pellet stove cranks the tree just drys up to fast. Well go back eventually in the next house.

For now it’s fake and scented candles

I hear to running in the heat is the worst. I can stand quite a cold run but to hot just does me in.
