Nice, I'm at some training and it's in the same hotel I'm staying in. Getting to sleep in, no commute. It's awesome.

I just found something I like about “home” the sun doesn't set at 8:20 in the middle of summer.

 

We get the sun from 5:45 to 9:45, and it's usually gray light between 9:45 and 11, then gray light again from around 4 am on.

 

Lots of daylight in Da Yoop.

Jon Sherman of the website Practical Golf (a good read, one I recommend) was running a contest last week to get one of his new hats.

Today my wife and I celebrate our 11th anniversary. I can't believe she has put up with me for this long.

 

I often tell her if it wasn't for her I'd probably be in prison, or dead. Wasn't on a very good path in life before we got married.

 

Best 1/3 of my life so far.

 

5 amazing kids, things are great!

Happy Anniversary Alan!!

This day 4 years ago my boy was born. Both he and my wife had a very rough time and we didn't know if either would make it. He spent 3 weeks in the NICU and she got 10 units of blood. Long story short they both made it and I have a very happy and fun 4 year old and a great wife.

This day 4 years ago my boy was born. Both he and my wife had a very rough time and we didn't know if either would make it. He spent 3 weeks in the NICU and she got 10 units of blood. Long story short they both made it and I have a very happy and fun 4 year old and a great wife.

First run since the 14th, haven't lost any pace. Wasn't to fond of running around Norfolk.

I've been meaning to get back into running, maybe I'll just live vicariously through you
