Broken Clubs

I was 16 when I broke my last club.  Broke the shaft of my driver over a bench after a bad drive.  I went home and told my father what happened and that I needed my driver re-shafted.  He asked if I had the money to fix it.  The answer was no.  His comment: "you'd better practice hitting your 3 wood a long way".

That was the last club I broke in anger..over 50 years ago!

My thoughts on breaking clubs...

1. You look like a child throwing a tantrum, it's a bad shot. Get over it.

2. Instead of breaking the club why not rip a $100 bill in half. It's the same thing throwing money away

3. This isn't the PGA tour and you aren't playing for millions

and most important

4. We aren't good enough at golf to get that upset over a bad shot.

Took me a long time to learn these rules, but I got there. Better late than never, I suppose. I've only ever broken one; tossed (threw?) it and it hit the cart and broke the shaft.

Now, I just toss them disgustedly a few feet away from me. Let's them know how disappointed I am in them... 🤣

Just one this year!! 2016 M1 caved in on my and cracked on the crown! Hoping TM steps up and sends me a new one! Only used it for one season, but I've read that they had some issues.

Keep us posted on that one. Curious how they handle it. Only warranty stuff I've ever had was with Callaway, and they were really good.

Had a driver snap right across the crown but it was an older driver. No rage breaks
