here's a link. I found out about it through a specialist. It's always in my golf bag when my wrist injury shows it's ugly face

Is it more, less, or the same stability as athletic tape?

better than tape! Designed by an orthopedic specialist. Basically a simple brace that stabilizes the ulna bone so that the entire wrist is supported. I had bad wrist pain that I couldn't put pressure on it. Put this brace on and amazed how I could use my wrist pain free.

Went to there website and did the weight bearing test with and without tape - looks like I am the perfect candidate for one of these!  Placed my order from Amazon and it should be here Tuesday.

Thank you for posting it!

The brace is so simple, but boy does it help! And it doesn't interfere at all with your golf grip or swing. Just stabilizes wrist and almost eliminates the pain. Let me know how you like it!

So on a related topic - braces for body parts - do the copper weave products work? I've seen them in socks, elbow braces, etc.

I tried the copper braces in my knees and nothing really happened. BUT my golf buddy swears by them won't play without it.

Aren't the copper sleeves just for compression? Compression in and of itself is great for ailments. Magnetism aside, I'd guess the copper adds stability which would help even more.

If the above statements are true, then the copper sleeves would definitely help some but not all types of pain.

The copper does help some people but not “bone on bone”. When my knees really bother me I use a support knee brace which does stabilize my knee better but limits mobility. I'll get the replacement one of these days but I'm in no rush. My family has a history of replacement problems and I don't want to contthr family tradition.

I wore a knee brace for several years before I had my replacement.  It helped.  However, the surgeon said that if I had waited one more year, he would have had to do a bone graft.  The knee feels great now; I should have done it 5 years ago.

I had the supartz (5 shots) directly into the knee and adds a cushion between the bone on bone. It has helped tremendously.

Well I've got the wrist widget in my cart. Waiting till I finalize the rest of what I need before ordering. I've never had wrist pain before and hope it never comes back but I'm only getting older so it wouldn't hurt to have one of these in the bag just in case (plus I could use it right now)

Found one on eBay for $9 and it just came in today. If nothing else, it looks cool. Time will tell if it actually works.

Looks like I might be sidelined for awhile.....got an MRI scheduled for a possible torn rotator cuff on my right shoulder.

It's not completely debilitating at this point, I can still swing a club but I'm sore the next day or so. I will have to wait and see what happens.

I'm getting old I guess...LOL

Doc, thinks that years of baseball, softball and golf have just caught up to me.

Hey said that if it's not too bad they may just try to treat it with injections, but it could mean surgery and no golf for several months
