If the balll was the right ball for you (Tour-level, 2-piece distance, somewhere the middle), would you play a matte white ball?  I'm, uhhhh, asking for a friend...

I wish they made more matte white balls. Loved playing the matte white Vice balls.

... Nope. I have hit millions of gloss white golf balls so I have a comfort level with them and the one time I hit my son's matt white Volvik I found it distracting. I couldn't see the dimples and it

I'll try anything that works. If the matte finish performs then I would definitely put it in play.

No doubt, I think it looks cool and if it performs for me, even better. Golf needs more companies and players that aren't afraid to be a little different.

Never played a matte white ball, but why not?! I'm currently playing yellow golf balls so I'm already considered weird! But seriously, I will play whatever ball I feel is best for my game.

Never tried the matte Vice offering, but if they made the Pro in matte I'd order 5 dozen, since the lime seem to be impossible to get.

If my answer wasn't clear, yes -- I would play the hell out of a matte white ball.

I would have to see one in person. The only one I have ever hit was a Volvic that I found and to me that ball did not hit very well. Nothing to do with the color though

Looks like "Hell Yes!" is off to an early lead. Those matte balls seem to pop better when you're looking for them as well.

Can we have a maybe option?

I'd need to know it's as easy to see, and that it doesn't discolour more easily than a gloss ball. It would need to perform exactly the same as the ball it replaced.

If a matte ball performs better, we should all use one.

Did not play it all year lol.

Yes I would. To me the only thing I didn't like about the matte finish was how quickly it would get a grass stain. It wasn't a deal breaker because it just as easily cleaned off. I will be getting some for this winter and they'll be bright lol

If it fit my game, hell yeah! I'd happily play the neon if I could tell a discernible difference towards the positive. I have sooooooo many balls of different types, I couldn't tell you what works best, except I tend to do well with Nike Mojos ( the official ball of the Honey Badger Classic)
