chemclub
Must be running a pretty trim ship down there because they couldn't even show a picture of the lefty clubs. I still think these are gorgeous irons. I wonder why they won't just sell the heads. More of a margin in the shafted clubs maybe. Still, nice to see that the Hogan company isn't in shutdown mode (yet). This qualifies as a new release! Kor.A.Door
Honestly not badly priced compared to others. The shafts that show won't work for me though I wonder if they have some upgrade shafts for purchase. Head only purchase would be nice though. chemclub
They're coming along -- slowly but surely.... Yes - it's really nice to see that they are (hopefully) in a slow growth phase. I remember there was all kinds of buzz about a fitting studio they were building in an old ink factory or something. I imagine those plans are on hold (maybe even cancelled). Still, would have been really cool to plan a visit. They've moved out of their original facility in the old newspaper building and are now located in Callaway's old custom facility in Fort Worth - much smaller and much less expensive. I think they're doing it right this time - taking it slow and keeping it small. My guess is they'll stick as a fringe player - I'm really curious to see how well their direct-to-consumer model works. chemclub
Yea, they had big plans - but that was part of the problem. Phew, that is an understatement. When I heard they were offering every loft of iron. I assumed they were only forging a few iron heads across the set, bending to the specified loft, and then milling the loft into the toe. It's my understanding that in reality they were forging each individual head! In hind sight we should have all known that the cost of all those tooling dies plus managing that inventory was unsustainable unless they were moving massive amounts of product (Folks at Nike at the time knew the market wasn't allowing that). And I suppose even if they were making product the way I originally thought, they still might have ended in the same place. I really hope they stick around. I was seriously looking into a set right around the time things started going South for them. I decided to go a different way at the time but who knows, maybe some day.
