It finally came in

My G400 crossover has taken its place in my bag. I took it to the driving range this weekend and hit it nice and straight but not as long as I'd like. So a bit of work before it becomes the 'go to' club that I envisioned.

 

The biggest issue for me is getting use to the weight (compared to my irons). My irons have the standard true temper shafts and the crossover has a graphite standard shaft that my instructor fitted me for.

I'm curious how these driving irons compare to hybrids. Are they a good replacement for them? I haven't used a driving iron yet because I haven't found a need too.

... I am a huge DI fan. I have played Adams DHY, Wilson FG Tour, Fli Hi, Exotics Tungsten CB, UDi, Srixon U45 and my current favorite, the adjustable Cobra King Utility. I was interested in the Crossover but it is HUGE! Seems like a lot of sole surface to be hitting the ground if you use it for more than a driving iron. Obviously there is a market for a very large DI, but just not my cup of tee and for me at least, it was shorter than the other I have played. Good luck with yours!
