Brian A
So my dads friend made a club stand for when you go to the green with a wedge or two and a putter. Basically you stick it in the ground and lean clubs in the V to keep grips dry. Would you buy it and what would you pay? hckymeyer
I'll echo the same opinion. I wouldn't purchase or use it. There's niche products, and then there's REALLY niche products. This falls in to the latter. First you need someone who rides a cart, because if you carry or push your bag it's already there to hold the clubs. Then you need someone who consistently plays in the morning when it's dewy or just after a rain. Then you also need someone who consistently brings more than 2 clubs when they missed a green. The market just isn't big enough in my opinion. FWIW I just use my ball mark fixer and prop up the grip on the putter while I chip. StrokerAce
I wonder what the greenskeepers think about this? I suppose if you use it right it wouldn't cause any damage but there seems like the potential is there.... especially if someone decided to bring it on the green and stick it into the ground. downlowkey
With several pocket sized items (tees/pitch tool/cigar holder) that adequately fill this function; the only potentially successful market focus I envision would be to individuals physically unable to bend over. Or perhaps those that feel the need to wield a weapon on the course; that thing looks dangerous.
