Joeyj11
Anybody pull the trigger on a Srixon driver after seeing MGS testing and results? What were your personal results and what shaft did you go with? Trying to decide if I should add a Z565 with a Hzrdus yellow x stiff to the stable for next year? Street11
Currently I have the 765 in the bag with the HRZDUS Yellow at 63g 6.0. My whole bag is x-stiff except for this club, for some reason the stiff just felt better and was more accurate. Previously I had the Cobra F7 and honestly my Srixon blows it out of the water in terms of feel and sound. I LOVE THIS DRIVER. Sounds like a marketing ad but I've never driven the ball better than I do right now. One of the best things about this club is strikes low on the face are pretty dang good, if that is a miss of yours like mine, this club will help a lot. Did I mention it feels amazing? GolfSpy Barbajo
I've been gaming the 565 on and off this season - more on than off, actually. Went through a fitting earlier in the season comparing it head to head with the Epic. Stock shaft with the 565 beat the Epic with every possible shaft imaginable - and not by a little. My driver swing was all over the map this season, but I like the Srixon very much. 03trdblack
I picked one up fairly cheap and it's been a fantastic club. I have the stock Mizu 6s shaft and it feels perfect. It seems to have a little counterbalance feel to it and is super smooth. If you waggle it, it feels a little loose but doesn't play that way. The driver itself is extremely underrated in the golfing world. I was getting fantastic sub 2000 RPM spin numbers which is rare for me. The feel off the face is a metallic springy sensation and the look at address is super classy with nothing but solid black and a clean shape. It's worth checking out for sure Joeyj11 and 808nation 2 Quote My bag is a revolving door!

Golfspy_CG2
Like Barbs, I played one off and on this summer as well, again like him, mostly on until September. It did really well for me. It wasn't a long distance killer for me, but it is probably one of the straightest driver's I've ever hit. I did a dirver shootout with it and my 917D3 in early September, and I was getting more distance with the 917, I think due to the low spin head (I generate ALOT of spin). I think that is the one thing that hurt me with the 565 in distance, I just bought the stock shaft without going through a fitting (I know 40 lashes!!) and it launched really high and seemed to carry well, bu then it just kind of landed without much rollout or spring to it's bounce at all. But it was a great looking and feeling driver. tommc23, mooremikea and ole gray 3 Quote TSR1 9.0 Graphite Design DI 5R TSiR1 15.0 Aldlia Ascent 60g TSR2 18.0 PX Aldila Ascent 6og TSi1 20 Aldila Ascent Shafts R T350 5-GW SteelFiber I80 SM8 48F/54/58 D Grinds Select 5.5 Flowback 35" ProV1 Play number

JTexGolfer
Nowhere to demo these where I am at but I would love to give one a shot. They look great in pictures but I still haven't seen one in the wild. Anyone here compare the feel to the TaylorMade drivers? I am not a fan of how those drivers feel off the face so I'm curious. Txmason123
I have been wanting to try the 565 since MGS posted their driver article. I have always hit Big Bertha drivers, so it is hard for me to go with anything but Callaway for a driver. After reading the article, my mind is more open to the idea. Now I just need to go find one to hit. jackdanger
Got the z565 to replace my Fly-Z at the end of last summer, MGS Most Wanted Homeboy I guess. Put a Aldila Rogue Silver Rip I/O 70g in it and it is so good. I took it to a golf shop a couple months ago to put it up against all the new offerings and I couldn't find anything that could top it. The G400 series was the closest and now that the LST won this year's Most Wanted, I want to do a more thorough head-to-head with my Z. Should be fun but I'm not expecting it to leave the bag anytime soon. casey_0507 1 Quote What's in my bag: Driver: Fly Z, 10.5* set to 9.5* D, Kuro Kage TiNi 65, x-stiff, 45'' long Hybrids: z45, 16* and 19*, Kuro Kage Black Hybrid, stiff Irons: 716 AP2 5-PW, NS Pro 950 GH, stiff, +0.5'' long Wedges: Mack Daddy PM Grind, 58*, black, Skratch Golf 53* wedge, both Dynamic Gold, wedge flex Putter: Sigma G Anser, black, pistol grip, 35" All clubs RH. sumadoggie
My ss is about 115-120. A typically flush hit ball carries 295-300. Just a few months ago I replaced my 2016 TaylorMade M1 9.5 degree with a Z565 9.5. I had my M1 weight up and centered. With the same shaft, the 565 absolutely hammered the ball. More boring trajectory, much more roll. I upped the 565 loft to 10 and got a bit more attractive trajectory, but I was curious enough about optimizing the 565 that I went ahead and bought a 10.5 head off eBay and turned it down to 10 degree. I don't believe tuning the 9.5 up to 10 or the 10.5 down to 10 changed the lie, but for some reason, the 10.5 turned down to 10 shot the ball on a mid to mid high trajectory that seems to go on forever. The 9.5 turned up to 10 was a mid-low cannon-shot. While I'm still doing a bit more experimentation, for now I'm settling on the 10.5 turned down to 10 and not going back to my M1 (or any other manufacturer for that matter). The 565 is longer in the air by maybe 5 yards and on the ground considerably (I total I'm probably 10-15 yards longer with the 565); AND the dispersion is down. Seriously. Why doesn't Srixon get more love in the driver department? A buddy of mine was watching me on the range when I was first trying out the 565 9.5 degree. The balls were like tracers to the end of the range on this trajectory I'd never hit before - mid traj with nice draw (I typically hit high cuts). He was like - WTF. I was like - I know right? The 565 definitely sits more square to my eye at address, which was odd at first because it looked like I was going to hit the ball dead left. I just had to trust it. After I got used to it I was able to let it do it's thing. Of course, after the honeymoon on the driving range old habits reappeared and inconsistency reappeared, but I'm not going back to the M1. The 565's bad is no worse than the M1 and the 565s good is much much better.

CKBigbear
I just picked up the 565 to replace my great big bertha! Stock Miyazaki XS shaft and it feels amazing. I am a fan of Callaway drivers because of their muted sound and feel but this blew me away. I still need to keep hitting it but the couple times i played so far has been good. Felt very controllable and helped me straighten out my slice. I now prefer this to my GBB driver. Not sure about distance loss im just excited to be in play and on the fairway more often haha. MrKallander
I have a z545 9.5* with Rogue I/O 60 Stiff shaft set at 9* with a 11 gram weight in the back set at D7 swing wieght and I love it, I tend to spin the ball a lot but with this set up I am 3.2 deg up @ attack w/ 12.5 deg dyn loft and around 2100 rpm with around 152 mph ball speed and 267-270ish carry. I have hit the z765 with the same shaft and got about the same results but way less accurate so I did not switch, I did try the z565 with the varying set ups and spun the ball arond 3000 and could not keep it from flighting - seems to spin more than the Z545. I hope to try the new z8 series when it comes out and compare. So far nothing has been able to suplant my z545, I may buy another head to keep around as back up its that good. As a high spinner was wondering if anyone else had the same issue with the z565 or has a setup that I should try to bring the spin down more. sidenote - I've tried multiple set ups in Titiest 917 series, M3 and M4, Ping G400lst, Epic and Rogue subzero and the best set up that came close was the Epic subzero 9* w/Hazardous Yellow 70 Xstiff - was 3.1* attack, 13* dynloft, 2500 rpm, 153 mph ball speed - carry around 262. jasonruthie
Just bought the 765 last week. Played with three times... I can't begin to explain the confidence this club has created for me. My miss was left and I struggled badly with that miss. Couple this head with the HZRDUS black handcrafted 75g shaft and I have only missed left twice in three rounds and they were not bad missed. Mainly just pulls. Put the club in the bag for my qualifier for the city am today and hit 13 of 14 fairways, 16 of 18 greens and I was easily through qualification. May never change drivers again.... Until the new one is released ;-). Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy 808nation
