There are previous years reviews and a forum thread for folks that use it as well.

Thank you! I'll look into it. I've been using Golfshot.

Really should have taken photo, but hardest hole is a par 4 over two hazards. One off the tee and one for the approach. It's too shot to play driver and has hazard the whole left side with deep rough right and bunker at the end of the fairway.

Hit a good, spinny 3 wood off the tee to about 130 meters. The flag was tucked behind a birch tree and I smartly played to the middle of the green with a bit of a fade leading to s 4 footer for birdie. Was such a crisp and enjoyable 9 iron and felt so good as a draw player.

Was a very up and down round but several great shots.
this hole does not look tough from a 2d view but the green is an absolute bear. You want to be pretty much where I was off the tee. Puts you at about 90 out with a very elevated green that plays an extra 15 yards. The green is two tiered and when I say it’s fast I mean if you are on the top tier and touch the ball it’s probably going to roll off the front. I hit a beautiful wedge that just worked perfectly. Hit the face of the tier to take enough spin off it that I didn’t roll back off the green. Made my two putt. Never made par on this hike before:

Played Whistler Golf Club today with my wife, son, and best friend with whom I have a very competitive golf relationship (I'm sure you know what I mean) 🙂 . First hole is a fairly straight forward par 4. My tee shot was poor slicing into a few trees along the right side of the fairway. All I had was a chip out onto the fairway to set up my approach. A too light 8 iron left me short of the green by maybe 25 yards. With the hole cut at the back of the green I managed an amazing chip that ran across the green and broke left dropping into the hole for a par! What fun and I'm up 1 already.

Played 9 this morning. It was in the 40s at the start. I couldn’t get warm for a few holes and was channeling my inner fictitious monster, “Topzilla”. But on number 9, I hit the shot that keeps you coming back. 140 yards from the rough to a back left pin. I hit my 8-iron to 7 feet.

510 par 5 with a 15 yard elevated green so it plays like 530.  Hit driver 290 and 3 hybrid 220 to 18 feet.  Unfortunately the green is tiered and my 2nd was on the top tier.  STIMP at 10.5 virtually impossible to stop anywhere but in the hole or 8 feet past.  Mine went 9 feet past over the right edge of the hole.  Made the 9 footer for birdie.

Not much, but after pulling irons and wedges hard to the left for weeks, I hit my 50° about 105 yards almost exactly where I was aiming.  Felt great, and feels like I'm finally getting myself back on track.

The 13th hole at Flagstone is a 485 yard par 5 from the green tees and it's uphill. It's the #1 handicap hole on the course and one I've had eat my lunch a couple of times.

Today I hit a decent drive just off the fairway right and pulled the King Tec 4 hybrid for my second shot. I topped it down the fairway to an uphill lie. Hit 5 wood to 125 yards and decided with the wind in my face to hit a punchy 7 iron. I hit it pure, flag high just off to the left.

Here comes my shot of the day, I thought I just needed to chip in for me par and had to play a delicate 54 to a downhill cup. I hit the chip which landed short of the green and trickled down to a foot. Made the putt to salvage bogey.

Not my shot but one of the guys in my group. Our second hole is a 370 par four 90 degree dogleg left.  You can’t cut the dogleg as the fairway narrows to 25 feet between a pond left and right and the trees are 50 feet tall and thick.  So it’s a layup.  I generally hit 4 hybrid or 5 iron off the tee and have anywhere from 7 iron to wedge depending on wind and pin placement into a green that sits up about 12 feet from the fairway so you have to carry the green to have a putt.

My buddy hits a poor layup and hits 4 iron for his second but it never gets airborne and finds the lake on the left.  He drops appropriately near the hazard and hits 9 iron to the midpoint of a ridge bisecting the green left to right which makes the back half of the green 2 feet higher than the front.  His ball stops completely near the top of the ridge.  As we are walking up to the green, we get within 50 yards and his ball starts to trickle off the ridge and rolls 18:-20 feet into the hole for a par 4.  There was no wind and we didn’t feel an earthquake so it must have been a blade or two of grass holding it in place until it started rolling.  It was awesome.

Not me but my father in law, he's a lefty.  Par 5, hits his drive down the left side behind some trees.  Skull tops his second shot further left, misses a tree and hits a power box, loud bang.  Next shot he tries to punch out to the fairway and it hits a root and kicks left into a runoff ditch full of rocks.  Moves it off the rocks into the rough.  Next shot he hits is nice, down the left side and hits a dead limb of a tree and makes its way to the fairway. Next shot he hits it in the bunker, he hates bunkers.  Gets it out of the bunker and two putts for a 9.  Needless to say we both had a good laugh out of that one.

I had a real up and down round today, with some very ugly shots, but a number of good ones. The one I'll remember is a par 3, I tugged my approach and was a little past the pin in the left rough. I had a great lie. It was slightly downhill, slightly left to right, and 42 feet, but I set up to it just knowing everything was right for a good shot. I can't be so arrogant as to say I was expecting to make it, but I was certain of an up and down. Having it go in was a nice bonus.

Every round we play, and even when we have a bad round, we still usually hit a few shots that we actually tried to do.

I had a 210 yd lie in the bark, under a big tree, with little trees in front of me, on the #1 hdcp hole.

So I saw that I had a small window if I could hit a low rising cut of about 20 yards. But I had to take a smooth swing as I wore the old spike less ecco's, and the sparse bark on the hard dirt offered no sure footing.

So out comes the 16* 3-wood, and I line up my feet to the opening, and aim the face at the pin.

Medical bed

I make a smooth firm swing and absolutely nailed it.

I ran out from behind the trees, just in time to see the ball land on the green and give me a 25' shot at a birdie, which I missed, but was still thrilled with the par.

Those are the shots that keep us coming back for sure...

It sounds like you had quite an exciting and challenging shot on that particular hole! Hitting a low rising cut through a small window can be a difficult task, especially with obstacles like trees and uneven footing. It's always satisfying when we execute a shot exactly as planned and see it result in a favorable outcome.

Even though you missed the birdie putt, making a par after such a challenging shot is definitely something to be proud of. It's moments like these that make the game of golf so enjoyable and keep us motivated to continue playing. The satisfaction of overcoming obstacles and achieving success on the course is often what brings golfers back for more.
