That said, I hit about 10 little pitches today, and I've taken 4-5 full swings. I find that I flinch BEFORE I know if it's really going to hurt. Missed about a six footer on 18 that would have given me an 89. Early rounds were very good (surprisingly good with distance control), but last few rounds...not so much. Putting a Winngrip Dri-tac Jumbo grip on to see how that goes. Very similar to the SuperStroke GT Pistol 2.0 I have on my PING Nome and has colours that match the head. I seem to have some off-centre hits on longer putts that go a lot shorter, possibly because there is no mark for the centre of the putter which I think I've had on every other putter I've ever owned. So I'm thinking about putting a Sharpie dot on the centre of the putter near the front edge.. Thoughts? That said, I can't see any problem with putting a mark on the putter head. Practiced with it a bit yesterday and started using the black "bar" that goes from the face to the back of the mallet to indicate the centre of the face. Worked well when I did that but when the ball is in the middle it looks like the hosel is going to hit the ball. It doesn't of course. Just have to get used to it. You could use some black enamel paint so it's barely noticeable but still raised and you'll have the option to pluck it off if you ever change your mind. I use the crap out of the tiny dot on my Tour Classic and only view the white wing with my peripheral vision. The fact that it's also black forces me to focus even harder. Started using a tip from the Evnroll thread about putting that dot slightly off-center on the ball depending on which direction the putt will break. Has helped me keep the misses on the high side if not made. You could use some black enamel paint so it's barely noticeable but still raised and you'll have the option to pluck it off if you ever change your mind. I use the crap out of the tiny dot on my Tour Classic and only view the white wing with my peripheral vision. The fact that it's also black forces me to focus even harder. Started using a tip from the Evnroll thread about putting that dot slightly off-center on the ball depending on which direction the putt will break. I like it subtle so I probably won't fill it in with black paint. But who knows! Is it just my bad eyesight or is the dot right of center? If the MLA aiming technology is designed to give your brain multiple aiming points to process information, does the single focal point now negate their aiming system? In theory, your brain will now focus on one single point giving it less information to make a square to target decision.
