MyWifesSwingCoach
I am wondering if anyone has any ideas on how I can get the sidewalk in from of my house removed? The reason I ask is because I have some old tree roots that are causing mushrooms in my front yard, these roots have also caused the aforementioned sidewalk to lift and break apart, I also need to grade my front yard to better direct water away from the house toward the ditch. I would do it myself but I am not sure if the ordinance officer would like it too much or if it would cause any issue in the future related to selling or inspecting the house or anything Important notes: the sidewalk ends on my property and it doesn't really continue the rest of the way down to the intersection, I live in Michigan GolfSpy_SHARK and Shapotomous 2 Quote Driver - R9 Superdeep TP 10.5* - Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana 65g XStiff Shaft 3 Wood - 2020 Tight Lies 16* - Aldila Synergy Red 50-S Shaft 2 Hybrid - Idea Pro - Aldila VS Proto+ 'By You' 80-S Shaft 3 Iron - R7TP DGTT SL S300 Shaft 4-9 Irons - R7TP DGTT X-100 Shafts (6i has mismatched Project X 6.0 shaft) Sand Wedge - Adams GT XTreme 2 SW Putter - Heppler Tomcat 14 Ball - Tour Soft

If the sidewalk is a tripping hazard you may be able to get the city to take care of it. In cities I’ve worked in, many require that removed sidewalks be replaced to the standard of original construction (even if the surrounding sidewalk looks like crap). In that case it might be more cost effective to do the grading work on your property and leave the sidewalk alone (possibly run a perforated drain pipe below it if it’s too high to allow water to drain off your yard). If you do go the route of replacement, adding plastic root barriers along the side could prevent future mushrooming and cracking due to roots. source: worked as a landscaper for 3 years tony@CIC and MattF 2 Quote Driver - Radspeed XB, Aldila Rogue Silver 70-S 3 Wood - Radspeed, Aldila Rogue Silver 70-S 5 Wood - Radspeed, Fujikura Motore X F3 6-S 7 Wood - 0341x Gen 4, Mitsubishi Tensei AV Raw Blue 75-S Irons - Pro 225 4-5, 223 6-PW, KBS $-Taper 120 Wedges - King Cobra Snakebite 52° & 58°, KBS Hi-Rev 2.0 S Putter - Stroke Lab Black Ten 35" Ball - Chrome Soft X LS Powered by 2020 ExPutt Official Review | 2021 Cobra Connect Five Participant | 2023 SuperSpeed Official Review

tommc23
I purchased a SunJoe dethatcher and aerator last year and used it before the winter to get up some of the weeds. The weeds are back this year but it’s better than a huge bare spot in my yard, every time I sees it pours and washes it away even when it’s not calling for rain. Today I used the aerator head and got up quite a bit of dense packed dirt and a ton of weeds out and some dead grass. I’m going to seed again tomorrow and in two or three weeks I’m going to dethatch and seed again. I’m going all out trying to keep my yard from turning to mud during the winter because that makes my house a mess. tony@CIC, MattF, MyWifesSwingCoach and 1 other

tommc23
Filled the pool up today because it’s going to be 90 the next two days and it’s nearly June so why not. Knew I needed a new pump and filter, bought the house with the pool and don’t know how old they are. Both are leaking from areas so I’m going to try it again tomorrow and see if I can get it to stop leaking. If not the new filter and pump are getting ordered tomorrow night. Minor setback at best knew I needed them was just pushing it off. On the good new side, my neighbor is fixing the dilapidated garage he just purchased. He knew it needed work but not as much as he is doing. Walls were rotted, roof rotted, roof collapsing in on itself. He told me he wanted to tear it down and put up a pole building but the town has stupid codes that he needs a retention pond for any building like that???? What???? RollingGreens
Just had a bad home project. Trying to patch a hole in the ceiling we cut out when we had a leak in the upstairs bathroom. Dealing with plaster was miserable. Couldn’t get anything to fit right and all my cuts were off. Nothing went right…. Unfortunately I’ll be calling someone to do the drywall work. I do t even want to post a picture it’s that bad of a job Shapotomous, sirchunksalot and MattF 3 Quote Stealth 2 Plus 9deg Kai' li Red Stealth 2 13deg Aldilla Rogue Silver Stealth 2 15deg Aldilla Rogue Silver JPX 921 Hot Metal 4-PW Nippon Modus 120s SM8 54 and 58deg Dynamic Gold Wedge Flex Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Titleist ProV1 Hoofer Stand Bag Stewart Q Follow Electric Caddie 300 PRO Rangefinder Official Nippon Regio B+ Driver Shaft Review Official Stewart Q Follow Review
GolfSpy_SHARK
After a long week of prepping to sell the house and doing odds and end stuff she officially is ready to list Thursday. Dog threw a real wrench in our plans but we got it done (more in national dog day thread). Finished up casing the windows in the basement and moving stuff out. Thank God for some of the folks from my work coming and doing a cleaning yesterday because I wasn’t going to get it done. sirchunksalot, bens197, Rickp and 5 others 8 Quote Check out my reviews: G710 Irons Official Review I MC Shaft & V Series Putter Official Review 2022 Forged Tec's Official Review I Nitron Push Cart Official Review WITB: Weapons of grass destruction (link to WITB) Traverse is filled with all this shiny metal and tracked by RadSpeed 8* - MotoreX F1 6X SIM 3W - Project X HZRDUS Green U505 Driving Iron 17* - Project X HZRDUS Black SpeedZone 4H - Project X HZRDUS Black 2022 King Forged Tec's 4-PW - KBS $ Tape 130 48 (SM8), 52 & 60 (SM7) - Nippon Modus 125 S ER2VI PROV1X #19 Are you a veteran?
