STUDque 11,886
Much like "the step" in Modern Family, what's the one thing around your house that just you can't get fixed? ---------------------------------------------- Mine? It's the shower door. I've tried so many "fixes" but it just never does the trick. It's a cheap builder's grade door and just needs to be replaced entirely. Those things are just so darn expensive and time consuming to replace. silver & black 5,740
I live alone with two large dogs...90 and 150 lbs. It is amazing how fast and how dirty they can get the house. It is a never ending job to keep the house clean. As far as repairs.... I need a new deck and my garage doors need new header boards put in and re-wrapped (trim bent on a brake).

Hackabilly 162
The pool....I didn't want one, still don't, my wife won't let me drain it and skateboard in it. It needs constant attention and I think it has some underlying major issues that I haven't figured out yet. Had to drain it completely and get it acid and chlorine washed this last year and I don't feel like that really helped anything all that much. It always has algae problems and I feel like I have to clean the filter once a week which I've been told should really only be a once a month to once every 3 month job.

Maybe you just live in one of those areas that has worse problems with that than others. A guy I work with has a huge house with a nice pool and hates it. Since his kids are grown, no one ever uses the pool but he still has to maintain the crap out of it. Peaksy68 4,082
Mine is a bit left field, rabbits! I'm on an acre, and the rabbits are approaching plague proportions. Anything we plant needs a guard on it or the little @&@&&@$@s chew them to ground level. One of the few downsides of having a mild winter is the rabbits don't get knocked back by winter. Any disturbed ground gets dug up on the first night. I can't shoot them, as I'm in town, and as I'm not a real farm, can't access gas pellets to gas the warrens. I'm hesitant to use other poisons because my dogs eat anything. 1 Quote G400 SFT Aldila Xtorsion Copper Stiff F8 3 & 5 Woods Project X Evenflow Blue 6.0 TS2 7 Wood Project X Evenflow Blue 6.0 MP18 MMC - Project X LZ 5.5 Zipcore Wedges 50,54,58 - Project X LZ 5.5 MLA Tour Mallet 33" Z Star Pioneer bag buggy

MattF 10,379
Our storm drains. I'm positive there's a break somewhere because when I rains a lot our sump works overtime. The basement has flooded twice because the sump failed and there was a 7 hour power outage. No one else on the street has the problem. Next year (It's too late now) I'm going to buy a waterproof camera and fish-tape from ebay, hook it up to the laptop and see what I can see. Also, Bradford pear trees. They are a royal PITA. We have two that provide nice shade during the summer but because of their size, they're weak and are starting to drop limbs, big ones. Plus, their leaves don't completely drop until late December, so it's snowed and snowing and these bastards are still dropping their leaves. 1 Quote In the bag: Driver: TSi2 Project X HZRDUS Smoke Black RDX 6.0 Fairway: 939X 15° Project X Even Flow Blue 6.0 Hybrid: 939X 3 Hybrid Project X Even Flow Riptide 6.0 Irons: D7 Forged 4-GW Project X Catalyst 80 6.0 Wedge: Smartsole S Putter Tracy Bag: Alpha Convoy 514 Balls: MTB-X or Black Cart: CaddyLite ONE Ver. 8 God Bless America, God save the Queen, God defend New Zealand and thank Christ for Australia! Trout Bum 127
Leaves and water in the cellar, we have a bunch of trees and cleaning the leaves is a full time job this time of year, I wish they were money trees lol. The other is water in the cellar, our home was built in 1930 and man I hate that I can't fix it myself, it will need a French drain around the house and I'm not able to do that stuff.

Dockout 58
Mine is fixable but I haven't got around to it. Our clothing dryer in the main floor is in the middle of the house and the venting runs through the floors/downstairs ceilings. The hose broke and the air was dumping into the house. I haven't used it in about 9 months (we have a stackable set downstairs as well). I have to re route the hose and install a pump to assist the air. It's my last project. For now. But I thank God every day that I even have a house to worry about. I know there are folks that would love to have my "problems".
