First, please forgive me if this has been mentioned before and I'm sure it has.

 

So, I'm a mid to high handicapper and I buy most clubs used. I frequent the PGA Value guide to get a estimate on used clubs.

 

Well, I was just flipping through the pages of the guide, specifically looking at the Wilson Staff FG Tour V6 and next to the picture of the irons was a very familiar emblem.

It was a bit of a surprise, but wasn't a shock. I've only been a member for a few years and MGS has always been moving forward and on it's way up to being national recognized. I look forward to the day MGS is mentioned by tour pros. I wonder if we have any tour pro members. I bet there is at least one.

Technically its only like 20-25 million per year, we don't have to pay it all up front  :lol:

Those guys are the ones that need tee up money and support the most. I would love to see that happen but you would have to find the perfect storm

Did a search on mgs, they did a how it works PGA player endorsements piece on Jan 13,2009. Can't seem to link it since I'm on my phone. But basically...

 

Hat 75k+

Sleeve 10k-million

Chest pocket 25k+

Shoes 10-20k

Collar 650k

 

Wow, didn't know they got payed like this... Up and comers on the developmental tours probably a lot less...

 

A Forbes article in Feb 2012 said it cost about 75k to play on the web.com tour. Probably closer to 100k now so if you offer an aspiring pro any amount of money, you can probably get him to agree to it.

That settles it. I would like to announce my pro status and am available to sponsors. I begrudgingly accept each #1 most wanted club and will allow MGS patches on all parts of my shirt. I'll even sew them myself.
