The snow line just keeps getting lower. Played 18 today which is unheard of here in Salmon Idaho this time of year. Oh and I shot 68. Just Sayin!!!

Nice, our snow has already flown a couple times this year.  Compared to the last few years we lost at least 3 if not 4 weeks of the season.

Definitely could wake up any morning now with a few inches on the ground. Every morning that I look outside and see grass it is like christmas morning as a kid. Get a little giddy to say the least.

I bet the duck hunters in Idaho are excited that the temps are dropping. Temps are dropping into the 30s here in Pennsylvania so I doubt the courses will be open much longer.

Great round! I'm glad you got it in! My wife and I were just remarking that it's snowing where we used to live in Wisconsin. Summers down here are tough but it's beautiful now and you can still play golf in our tough. Well other than if it has a name.

Got a tee time for Saturday at Crystal Lake in Lakeville -- 11:04 for any Minnesotans that want to join up! It'll be a balmy 37 degrees at kickoff!!  Might play Sunday as well -- should warm up a bit to around 39.

I'm hoping for Tues & Wed.  They already winterized and closed the back 9, but there is a 50/50 shot they will open the front back up for a couple days.

Well it snowed this morning but now it is raining, snow is melting!!! Guess I will be spendin another lunch trompin the fairways with the course all to myself, which is good cause I got another swing thought to try. Hee Hee

We had our last outing of the year go off this am.  41 degrees with 16 mph winds for a windchill of 33.  But they finished all 18 holes!!

Unfortunately yes. It is I little early for it to get this cold overnight, we will get up to around 50 tomorrow with a feels like of 55 ish. So it won't be too bad as the day gets started

55 is shorts weather now in my area of PA we have wind chill of 10. I may have to drive 2 hours to play my next round.

By the time we got to hole 13 or so I could have played with shorts on. It was 35 and really windy early in the round, it was a brisk breeze as well. We finished around 1 o clock and it was about 48 degrees, but it was bright sunshine, and he wind died down later in the round.

Great pictures match play 66.We had our first big freeze and frost two weeks ago.Once that hits MOST well manicured courses close immediately.I was told that even the most simple divot never really grows back once the first big frost hits.Usually I can understand why most courses stay open for financial reasons after a big frost.But if they really cared about the course they should honestly close imho

Lived in New England for 50 yrs played until snow was on the ground - played in temps as low as 20 fun kinda - now live in SC Yahoooooooo

Got to play today here in Salmon Idaho. The high was around 40. On the 9th hole this buck ran across the fairway and we took this pic. Look closely it still has an arrow stuck in it .
