ED13
I had a putting green installed in my yard last fall while I redid the landscaping. I purchased The Perfect Putter and Dead Zero putting disks based on an article on this site. The green is over 50' long with a few breaks and I want to practice breaking puts and hoping the Perfect Putter will help me to understand them. The Dead Zero disks are for extra targets on the green. I also hit a couple of Evnroll putters at Golftown and am thinking of getting a putter fitting at a location near me who stock these putters. cnosil, kardboard.kid, ole gray and 1 other 4 Quote Driver - Ping G410 Woods - Callaway Rogue 5 wood Hybrid - Titleist TS2 21 degree Irons - Taylormade P790 5-PW Wedges - Taylormade MG3 50, 54, 58, SM9 60 Putter - Mizuno Black Carbon BC3

revkev
I'm seriously considering the C3i wedge based on the Reports from the blog. Like anyone my handicap doesn't tell the whole story. When accuracy, consistency and distance are figured in I'm a low handicapper with my driver. Mid handicapper with approach shots, scratch player pitching and chipping, mid single digit putter which is where my handicap sits currently. Traps? Even when I was a 1, I was like a high handicapper. I actually had a season where I played 30 competitive rounds and never once got up and down from a trap. I need to invest practice time just to get the stupid thing safely out and on the green. I love my 60 but it won't be as necessary once I leave Bayou. I could easily pull it and have a trap, crappy lie only club in my bag if it idiot proofed things for me in that sand. It's cheap enough to give one a try. I wouldn't have even consider it without the MGS test. revkev
@Rick I was just ridiculously over compensated for a funeral. They asked me to sing a solo, I'm Irish, you don't have to ask me twice to sing, so I did. They paid me my normal honorarium plus as a soloist and then through in a little something extra, you know, for the effort. So whatever I want is on the table - I will go lay my hands on the Cleveland first just to see it. I could do both. The Mrs. is expecting $200 - I have more than enough to buy both wedges over and above that amount. I also feel guilty - I really did nothing out of the ordinary. HardcoreLooper
I have met a few of them during testing sessions and during the thank you party. I know that some are really into golf and equipment like myself and others are just people that come in to test that are members of local golf clubs. Perhaps they aren't into posting on golf forums in the end it isn't an answer that I know. Most are in the hampton roads area of Virginia. From a staff perspective I think Sam is the only on that participates in testing, but that may change this year since they hired a new person to help run the testing. The goal is to have everyone local so they can ensure the same testing protocols are followed and. It have to ship stuff all over the place. If you ever need more testers, I'm just a little farther west on 64. Always happy to come down to Yorktown. If we go over to Williamsburg, I'll buy pitchers at Paul's Deli.
