What's Your Favorite Lounge Chair?

ole gray

Recommended Posts

I'm in the pondering mode for a comfortable lounge chair preferably for a tall big man.   I'm 6'2 at 218 lbs so I need something my big ole arse can wallow in like papa bear on a cold Georgia night. We have a nice leather chaise style sectional sofa which is ok however it doesn't support my back enough. Soooooo what's ya favorite papa bear's chair?

The chair was similar to this. Figured I'd get back on topic.

Man, can't do the lounge chair... Just can't. Give me a comfy couch with a section long enough that my 6'5” frame can stretch-out, and I'm all set!

See that's where we have a problem, my Fiance is 5'0" and hate couches with high backs that go above her head. So we bought a couch that has a low to mid height back, and then bought two of these chairs, one in the living room for me, and one in the man cave.   It's just your plain old Lay-Z-Boy recliner that is probably going on close to 17 years old or so.   But it's still as comfortable as ever.

I've got a knock off of a Lazy Boy SWMBO bought for me at least 15 years ago at the now closed Bobs Furniture. If Mr Boy's products are as good this one it should be good. BTW IN 5' 10.5” 215lbs.

I think I've shrunk 1/2” an inch last couple years.

Yea it's crazy how we lose our hair, height, and waist lines when we hit the golden years.
