revkev
Since they offer the wedges in 1* increments, you shouldn't need to bend clubs more than .5*, shouldn't be an issue. It is if you want to retain your SCORs with their current shaft. Aside from the shaft comments is there a noticeable difference? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy They are slightly different in appearance - at least the 56 is - the Hogan is a bit boxier. Very similar feel around the green. I will certainly do a write up with some pics in a few weeks. I saw a very use SCOR 52 on eBay - I may pick it up to pull the shaft. I'd like to get a nice apples to apples comparison As an updated edit I pulled the trigger on a SCOR 52 on eBay for 21.00 - this way I can have my guy pull the shaft and throw it into the Hogan 52. fozcycle
This reminds me - does anyone have experience with what happens with a v-sole when the loft is bent. Peaksy68
Mine arrived yesterday, hopefully I'll get to hit a few balls on Sunday. Then they'll be put away until the Scors wear out. Peaksy68
The perimeter weighting on the Hogans looks to be a little greater than the Scor. The "thumb print " is a little deeper, and the the ridge runs straight across the back of the club, rather than curving down towards the toe. Hosel on the Hogan is slightly shorter. I still haven't had a chance to hit the Hogans, hopefully later this week. revkev
I think that “thumb†print is what makes the hogan appear boxier. To me it also looks as if there is some offset to the Hogan that's not there with the SCOR. None of this is necessarily bad. It's just my initial reaction. I'm looking forward to testing these in earnest starting next week. Peaksy68
Hit a few balls with each wedge today. Initial impressions are favourable. They felt great off the club, could really feel the ball on the club face. I felt confident with them, most were close to the centre of the face, or slightly towards the heel, with no significant change to the result. Love the options the V sole gives, opened the face on a few flop shots off tight lies, with good results. 849 Pro Evenflow Riptide 6.0 F8 3 & 5 Woods Project X Evenflow Blue 6.0 TS2 7 Wood Project X Evenflow Blue 6.0 MP18 MMC - Project X LZ 5.5 Zipcore Wedges 50,54,58 - Project X LZ 5.5 MLA Tour Mallet 33" Z Star Pioneer bag buggy
