I predominantly use the app on my Android phone .. the latest update provides a freshened interface but .. also seems to have dropped the "Blog" section..... Which was nice to be able to access within the app. Also, the "Store" link is not present in the app menu..... WITB of an "aspiring" play-ah ... Gonna have to use the computer more. I just like that the app has the unread section so I don't have to read every forum. Maybe you should switch to iOS FYI I did have a problem with my iPad earlier last week including MGS but once I restored it no more issues.
