How many extra wraps

Recommended Posts

Quick question...I need to regrip 2 of my clubs and at Galaxy yesterday I found some Lamkins in the clearance for cheap. I have MCC4 on the rest of my set. How many extra wraps would i need to put on the lower (Right hand) to make it similar to the MCC4? Fyi: i use midsize and these Lamkins are also midsize, so it shouldn't be more than 2 or 3 right?

So T Smith, two things to consider here. One, the MCC4 lower hand supposed gives the sensation of four extra wraps on the bottom of the grip, so that may be the easy answer. However, you should also consider the grip core size as it relates to the shaft butt, Here's a handy chart from Golfworks explaining that relationship. If you let me know what Lamkin it is I can get you that info on core size but the MCC4 is a 60R

In a :ping-small: Hoofer Lite bag
