thats the truth! Tough job no matter what.

Side note; The firefighters here (Villages) will change out your batteries in your smoke alarms free of charge upon request. You supply the 5-6 batteries. All you do is call them your placed on a schedule and then they call you when firefighters are available. I was doing my own until I talked to a couple firefighters and they told us they love doing it as they enjoy talking to the community. Well now we have them do the change and we give them $20 to get coffee or whatever for the guys.

It's been a hectic summer for me and my regular running schedule.

Back in April we took our girls to Orlando for some Universal Studios fun

Then we put our house on the market, then sold it and moved. Plus girls' dance group were invited to perform at Disney World

I just started running a 2 weeks ago and the BAM : kidney stone.

18 has been a weird year so far

Change one thing like add a new workout or take something in your diet and moderate it a little. Sometimes that's all it takes.

I know how ya feel Foz!   I'm hanging around the 205 mark while battling cravings for carbs.  I've heard the carb craving will diminish over time and the battle of the sugar urges will simmer down.  I'm going to get to my 195 goal.   It's going to happen!

im doing the vshred workouts and diet. It has plenty of carbs for you to keep the monkey off your back. It is a macro's style diet. It is working and I'm not starving. I feel great after a week.

I found vshred had a special for $57 that popped up in my Instagram. May still be there. The whole plan makes sense to me and isn't a fade diet, nor is the exercise to difficult. You can work out at home or at the gym.

Add blackberries in as a snack, they're very high in fiber

Blackberries are also one of the best sources of zinc which increase blood flow... To your... Uh... Junk... which helps with turning that regular flex into an extra stiff shaft.

Whole grain bread (check the fiber content on the bread and you'll be shocked at how much some give you in your diet), beans (refried black beans are a great sub in Mexican cuisine), berries (raspberries and blackberries are high in fiber, blueberries and strawberries have good amounts as well), peas, greens, steel cut oats, almonds, broccoli, brussel sprouts, potato (more importantly the skin), apples, pears, and bananas are all great sources of fiber. Just like any other nutrient, you'll want to vary your fiber as some fiber is soluble (think beans, peas, fruits) that slows digestion and helps you stay full longer, and insoluble (whole grains, broccoli, breads) that act like a broom and push food through your digestion quickly.

Chances are you aren't getting enough fiber in your diet. Don't worry, most Americans don't get near enough. Boost your fiber intake (be sure to drink plenty of water with your fiber) and you'll see an improvement in weight management. Also, really try to eat naturally occurring fiber versus something like a fiber one bar. Or as I call them, fart one bars.

Good luck everyone, I lost 64 lbs from Feb to July. It absolutely was an accomplishment. All about making good and smart choices and adding in some moderate exercise

64 pounds is awesome!   My worst enemy right now is craving sweets.  Once I make up my mind to moderate that part of my intake, I'll drop the last few pounds to reach my goal of 195.

I battled that with the Publix Greek Yogurt. Ate one every day for breakfast, and another when I needed it. Stuff tastes like ice cream when you freeze it!
