Sentry Tournament Match Up

Anyone else excited about watching two wildly different golfers going at it today in Maui?

Tale of the Tape

Dustin Johnson: 6'-4", 190 lbs, right handed, 33 years old

16 tour wins, 1 major

Coastal Carolina University

Brian Harman: 5'-7" 155 lbs, left handed, 30 years old

2 tour wins

University of Georgia

Don't count out the powerful Jon Rahm. Do Rickie or Jason Dufner have a chance?

It will be interesting to see the differences of the two in the last pairing. What each hits off the tee, what each has into the green and any strategies they might employ. A guy like Dustin won't play it safe to protect his lead will he? Won't he just go at it all day long?

Enjoy!

I really like the way DJ is playing. But more impressively is Harman. He had a few close ones last year, looks like the equipment change will play a big factor. Looks like he plays all CB's, and I think I saw the Cleveland RTX CB wedge. Pretty neat.

Dufner - I like seeing him play well. He has the best personality in golf... plus I hear he has the JPX Tours in the bag.

Rickie - Could catch on fire and go -9 today. Don't count him out.

Rahmbo - I think he will have a good year.

It's tournaments like this that really makes me miss Golf channel. Dish went up in price so I evaluated our plan and we saved $20/month by dropping Golf. It's the only channel in that tier we even watched so it was a no brainer

............but still sad

You ever look at Hulu, or other streaming services? I ditched the cable/dish and won't ever go back.

Too much surfing, snorkeling, luaus, and mai tais?

I wonder how Steph Curry could have compared to Koepka out on that course with those scores?

Will love watching DJ today, and to be honest I hope he psych's out Harman by being 70 yards past him all day.  I'm sure it's the minority opinon but something about Harman just rubs me wrong.   Could be I got tired of calling him a "little bull dog' about 1,015 times during last years US Open.

Yes, I am a big DJ fan, but I am also 5'-8-3/4" (ha,ha) and am interested is seeing how us short guys can compete with the big, lanky studs.

First half of football was boring to switched it over to golf.  Saw DJ at -11 and Harman at -12 and thought DJ was falling apart again.  Then I finally realized it was a replay of the 3rd round I watched yesterday after getting deja vu about a graphic and a couple shots they showed.

I guess back to boring football for a few more hours

Yes, Hawaii is 6 hours behind me here in Ohio. Hopefully they do a shotgun start at 8 am or something.

Rickie for the course record and win... hopefully

Even though I'm rooting for 'lefty' Harmon, it would be fun to see Rickie come from behind to win. It'd be one heck of an ego boost for him.

The course set up pretty well for The long hitters who kept it straight this week, a couple of them did, but DJ was better with his short irons this week, and made the putts. It was always going to be difficult for Harman with the wind, and he had issues with his putter in the 3rd and 4th rounds, which is the strong part of his game, he 3 putted a bunch of times, and had some really poor chips as well. There is no doubt the smallish Lefty can play, but DJ found the groove and is really tough to keep up with when he does that.

Lefties are always in their Right Mind
