Your right: it does look "interesting"...

 

Tour Edge (the Progressive J/Max) were my first set of non-boxed set irons. I really liked them. Also here good things about their Exotics line. To me, that means this model should at least deserve a double take.

Can't attest this one, but the cg2 is about as long of a fairway wood as you can find.

VP brought one by the other day for testing.

 

Felt great as all Exotics do. I really liked it, but the ball flight was too high for me personally. BUT having said that it will be great for A LOT of people.

 

One problem with the CB models are they launch very low for the "average" golfer. This might be a great option for those people that can't handle the square, deep face, low launching CB head.

I still bag a CB1 which is still the best FW I have hit.

 

The good thing is the retail price this time comes around $200 instead of the usual $350, which means It might be "grab-able" in 8 months for under $100. So count me in for one!!!

 

BTW, I love the pic and introduction about having to play from the rough and being designed for such purpose. Great advertisement idea I think...
