adidas Golf introduces the Ultimate Polo

Did adidas manage to create the perfect golf polo?  According to them this polo is everything golfers need, and nothing they don't.  They aren't trying to be humble with the name either, it's called the Ultimate Polo.  Check out the press release below and let us know what you think.

CARLSBAD, Calif. – (January 9, 2018) – The staple of golf apparel for players everywhere has always been the polo. After gathering feedback and insights from golfers all over the world, today adidas Golf is unveiling the newest member of the ultimate family – the Ultimate Polo. The new polo offers everything golfers need, and nothing they don't.

Building off the success that made the ultimate bottoms the best in its category, the Ultimate Polo targets the most important thing that golfers expect from a polo: consistency of fit. Designed specifically with that in mind, the wearer will find that the fit is the same regardless of style. As golfers usually own more than one polo, having a consistency of fit across styles makes the Ultimate Polo a reliable choice time after time.

Engineered with four-way stretch and durable stitch construction, the Ultimate Polo allows golfers to feel a more balanced weight in the garment throughout the round. adidas wanted to make sure that there was the right amount of stretch to provide the mobility needed throughout the golf swing, but still include the breathability and comfort that players come to expect.

“This is the best-fitting polo we've ever designed,” said Jeff Lienhart, president, adidas Golf. “We listened to players everywhere and put in just the right amount of everything players need – breathability, stretch, drape and weight. This polo is certainly worthy of the name.”

It's not always what golfers can feel that makes the difference. Unseen benefits of the Ultimate Polo include moisture management for fast-drying performance, along with UPF 50+ material that offers the wearer ultimate sun protection, which is important no matter the season.

The Ultimate Polo is available in a variety of colorways in both men's and women's styles, including a sleeveless version for women, starting at $65 and $55, respectively. Golfers everywhere can find the Ultimate Polo at adidas.com as well as at select golf shops and retailers worldwide.

Looks good. I tend to like the designs/patterns of adidas polos, too.

Like the looks of what I see so far.  I haven't had any Adidas polo's in a while, no particular reason why not, but guess I'll take at least take a look at these.

I know one thing. If you buy enough of these $80 shirts you'll ultimately go broke. LOL

I don't recall Adidas checking with me when they were looking for feedback from all over the world. Can't believe they snubbed ole Plaid like that. Anyway... for me the ultimate Polo style golf shirt must have the following or I'm not buying it...

1. And opening to get your head through

2. Collar

3. Two sleeves

My Sun Mountain bag currently includes:   TWGTLogo2.png.06c802075f4d211691d88895b3f34b75.png 771CSI 5i - PW and TWGTLogo2.png.06c802075f4d211691d88895b3f34b75.png PFC Micro Tour-c 52°, 56°, 60 wedges

I used to be a huge adidas fan. But in the golf apparel/shoe department they lack pizzazz. Looks cheap.

Pretty much why I've not bought their shirts in a few years.

I used to buy mostly Nike golf apparel for their design and materials but now, at least half of what I buy is Adidas mixed in with some Nike, Puma and Oakley.

I always have issues with Adidas sizing. Their medium in one cut is a small or large in another. Out of all of the brands of shirts I own (Nike, Travis Mathew, Adidas, etc.) Adidas is the worst in terms of consistent fit. I can't even order them online because the probability of the shirt not fitting is too high and I hate having to go to UPS to ship it back. Their "ultimate" shorts are amazing though!
