A 4 handicapper being pretty humble about his game 😉👍.  SteddyGolf would be a good name for a golf business.

I would love to be able to play steady, boring golf.

Fozcycle is just two words. Foz (nickname for Foster) and cycle because I used to race bicycles. Have used the name Fozcycle since I first got on the internet.   The avatar is just a pic of me.

Flipper is a childhood nickname, not golf related. The 554 is the tail number of the first jet I flew in when I was in the Airforce (Canadian Airforce so it was old) lol.

edit: Before becoming a MOD  my username was CarolinaGolfer2, explained in the first post.

When I became a moderator and had to have GolfSpy as the prefix, I was torn between the two.   I obviously went with my actual name, but have always missed the CG2 acronym.

So if you see a GolfSpy_CG2 in the near future, that's why, not a new moderator!

Its nice seeing CG2 back

DPatt is a nickname I have had since High School. It has gotten to the point that some people don't know my actual name because they only know me as DPatt. So that is the basis of both my old username TheeDPatt and my current one which matches my Instagram and Twitter.

I'm left shaken.

For an ordeal like that, 2014 has to feel like five minutes ago.

That's not something that one ever shakes--one just gradually learns to live with it better.

My son is like a vital organ of my own body.  This story has shaken me,

even though it's happened to a close friend of my own a couple of decades ago.

He lost a beautiful son that way too.

I feel you, GSwag.

I feel your son as well.  Anybody can find him/herself in a place that precipitates that.

Anybody. I pray you understand that.

I was a KC-135 pilot in the Air Force for 20 years so I mix that with my name/initial. It makes for an easy and rarely taken number suffix to separate me from all the other "GregB"s out there.

The company I used to work for had a factory in Lexington, KY that I took customers to every year. After the factory tour we always made our way to the Buffalo Trace Distillery where they make some of the best bourbon known to man. I was able to secure a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle 18 yr, which was enjoyed over Thanksgiving with my two brothers. They are my closest and best friends, and it was truly a special experience with a special bourbon.
I mixed the Pappy name with my last name: Roylance.

Simple: It has been my screen name since early AOL days.  I wanted to go by just my initials, but it was taken.  So I added the fact that Dr signified honorary degrees.  Have used it since the mid-80.

I currently work in suicide prevention and dealing with helping survivors.  To honor your son the way you do, will keep him loved in a way the will help you as well.  My blessings to you!
