I wouldn't mind testing some different kinds of balls. I'm kind of stuck with my E6's and have been kind of apprehensive to deviate from them, mainly cuz I really don't know any better really...yet.

I'd also love testing wedges too to get a better understanding on all of the ins and outs of loft, bounce, etc. I see lots of posts on wedges and really don't quite grasp all the technical aspects everyone talks about. I think some testing on a few different ones would help me better understand what all the hubbub is about.

The most rad test for me would be to get ahold of the G400 & GMax drivers too and compare them against my G-Series SF Tech out on the course side-by-side in a real world challenge. That'd be awesome.

Anyone tried the Ap3s yet? Would love to try these and maybe get them!

I tried them in a local store. I liked them but I like a lot of different irons too. Not too small of a head and decent feel. Would have to do some comparative analysis to see if the are better.

I have a local pro shop that has demo sets of the AP line. They will let you play a round with one or all of the clubs. I played a quick nine with three of the AP3 and they played very well. All I needed to do was leave my CC at the counter.

It's a little too late this season, but next year I propose a winter time beta test from the west coast. You know, since we can test the late year releases in 65 degree weather in February...

Plus it gives the garage putters something to read while snowed in.

I'm hoping to test out a few of these new "players distance" irons like the P790, Cobra Forged Tec Black and others. I'm looking to replace my 4 and 5 irons with something that has a little more punch to blend in my with my Cobra MB/CB combo set. Would love some suggestions for other clubs to try to fill that spot

If you guys are serious about your games, be careful what you wish for. I tested a putter a while back that did not work for me at all, and then as a by product, I lost my touch with my old putter that I was deadly with. I gave it 150% effort and bagged it for months-2 to 3 games a week. Because I wanted to give my best effort at a review.

So my cap suffered a bit, and so now 9 months later I'm going with an all new putter, which fortunately has gotten off to a great start.

This is a by-product of being a tester.

With that, I'm loving my bag and would only consider a 3-wood.

The one thing that I would totally love to test, but isn't ever on the table, would be driving range cage that I could set up in my spare garage, with a big-screen simulator and launch monitor. and a large putting green would be cool too. I have a spare 1000 sq ft garage that's just begging for the small practice facility...

That's all...

I'm interested in testing the irons in the players distance category as well. I use “players irons” now but would like a little more forgiveness in a compact shape

Drivers. Hopefully, especially the Titleist TS2/3. I have been testing the Mizuno ST against my dear old Mizzy MX500.

I have a great putter and love my GameGolf. Hard testing against those as I am very loyal.

Testing a TaylorMade 3W today, Callaway Rogue 3W in two weeks. I have hit the Rogue and like it -- looking to replace a used Adams Tight Lies that I like well enough but leaves a big distance gap after bagging a new Epic driver.

If you can look into the Tour edge exotics you should, they will not disappoint, several of us here use them, and I won't carry any other 3wood in my bag, I also know that there are several others here who feel the same. TEE fairway metals are legit, and long. Give them a try. Also you can pick up some of the newer modelsfrom 2nd swing.com or Rockbotton Golf, or 3balls.com for a decent price. I saw yesterday that at the Tour edge website, the newer EX-10 was on sale for 199 and there was a mail I rebate on their site for 50. You can't find a better deal on a premium 3 wood for better than that. Just my .02 good luck in your searches.

I agree,  TEE woods are great and generally fly under the radar so you can pick them up in the used market inexpensively.   I have an XCG7 that I play from the fairway and off the tee and there isn't much that can kick it out of the bag.

You can find some XcG7's for 40-50 bucks that are Still in very good condition. By far the best fairway metals I've played over the years.
