jayjay0808
I saw the Q&A and it was very interesting. I will say this, I think Tiger is so complicated a person that we will never know the true story about him. Which is disheartening because usually when there are not concrete facts, everyone takes different avenues from the limited details. grad2004cca
Not sure about you but I haven't been this excited to watch a golf tournament early in the season for a long time. Really happy to have Tiger back in the mix. How do you think he'll do this week? Make/miss the cut? Top 10? WIN IT ALL !?!?! After watching Tiger in contention the past couple of weeks I cannot wait until the Master's. He moves the needle! I even had to make myself a new watch face lol. I will say this, I think Tiger is so complicated a person that we will never know the true story about him. Which is disheartening because usually when there are not concrete facts, everyone takes different avenues from the limited details. Honestly I would say, who cares? Some of my favorites in other sports were Micky Mantle and Lawrence Taylor. I don't care what they are doing off the field because in the end unless you know them, you can't know them on a personal level. For me athletes aren't role models, they are distractions, a chance to get away from the trials and cares of life. The only bit of info I'd care about with Tiger is if it could be proven that he issued PEDs. But if he did then so did others and he still blew them away so even that wouldn't bother me all that much. I enjoy excellence in sports even when I'm rooting against it. TheWahoo
Last year I was a volunteer at the Quicken Loans tournament at TPC Potomac. Shortly after that tournament it was announced that Quicken Loans had pulled its sponsorship, so I wasn't sure what this year would bring. About three months ago, I got an email stating that the tournament would be played, called the National and request that I once again volunteer. So I forwarded my volunteer registration and requested assignment to the Media Center. Yesterday, Tiger announce that he would be playing because it benefits the Tiger Woods Foundation. Last year the crowd followed Rickie Fowler, this year it will follow Tiger. Last year people would ask me, where is Rickie, and I would say just find and follow the crowd. I suspect this year I will be asked where is Tiger and I will again say find and follow the crowd.

However, a few years prior, I was a committee chair for the Web.com tour when it played there. I had to attend a couple of organizational meetings and after the meetings I got to play the course.
