Curly6
I'm in the market for a new driver, but hesitant to give it the go around. It'll be in my testing, but because my miss is typically high toe with an open face, I wouldn't think there's much correction that the new face will provide. Kegger
I really don't think the face will have a noticeable difference, and if it does, I think it would do more harm than good for my game. I have a pronounced over the top move right now which causes my swing path to come outside to in (A swing fault shared by many). This swing path results in an open face to get the ball to target. Currently a high toe shot with my swing is still going to produce a high cut/slice, and TM's design says a high toe shot will start the ball FURTHER right so it can draw back to center... Well, a high toe is typically not a draw for me (And others with a similar swing path) so if anything, the face doing what TM claims seems like it would be an added hindrance. But again, I think this tech makes sense with robot testing, but probably not so much to your average golfer. J_Wurz
Several Cobra drivers from 2012 thru the current F8 have had similar tech with the “canted bulge,†yet there's been almost no reported impact on consistency. If the Cobra canted bulge is any indication, the TM twist face will come and go with other gimmicks... As others have said, it's 90% the Indian and 10% the arrow. No tech can make a huge difference. But we will still buy into it! It's all about the marketing baby! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
Sluggo42
While it's true that a bad hit is still a bad hit, and nothing will help that, I think it's still quite possible for the guy who hits most shots fairly close to the sweet spot to benefit. Of course, until we start getting some real world testing results, it's hard to say. But I still have a hard time seeing anything beating out my 816 DBD in a significant way. It was the same with my old TM Jetspeed. Nothing could beat that driver for 4 years until the Callaway drivers came out. I don't know that the twisty will be any longer, but it might get everything a touch closer to the middle of the fairway TSr2 on tensi blue stiff Speedzone 3-wood on Tensi blue S Epic Max 5 and 7 woods on HZRDUS Reg flex Paradym 9 wood on HZRDUS reg flex P770 / P790 combo set on Ventus R-6 shafts 6-AW T22 Denim Copper 54°, 58° on Kinetic X Trajectory ER3 or, E.A.S. #4 (“Fang” or “Adele”) ProV1x, or, Maxfli Tour X .Org 14 cart bag Adidas Tour 360 , or Sketcher shoes

Dr. Dinklestein
I have an M4 driver and M3 fairway wood. Played a few rounds with them and spent some time on the range. Nothing shockingly crazy about them but you can tell some minor differences. I'm also going through some swing changes now so it's kind of hard to tell because of that. I like them a lot though and think most golfers will enjoy. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
