Interesting to see how much difference it will make for us mere mortals. I'm going to give it test when it comes out to see if it's worth the upgrade.

If you just stop watching tv and listen to

How they explain it it's very infomercial. That 2am drunk golf channel gx7 metal or xe1 wedge type stuff. That being said I still want to try it and really the only driver out that has my interest..

I'm in the market for a new driver, but hesitant to give it the go around. It'll be in my testing, but because my miss is typically high toe with an open face, I wouldn't think there's much correction that the new face will provide.

I really don't think the face will have a noticeable difference, and if it does, I think it would do more harm than good for my game. I have a pronounced over the top move right now which causes my swing path to come outside to in (A swing fault shared by many). This swing path results in an open face to get the ball to target. Currently a high toe shot with my swing is still going to produce a high cut/slice, and TM's design says a high toe shot will start the ball FURTHER right so it can draw back to center... Well, a high toe is typically not a draw for me (And others with a similar swing path) so if anything, the face doing what TM claims seems like it would be an added hindrance. But again, I think this tech makes sense with robot testing, but probably not so much to your average golfer.

It seems that Dustin and Rahm were just hitting laser bullets, one after another. Their confidence seemed very high.

And, their distance seemed to be ok....haha, right?

Already hit the M3 and the M4. Could not tell any difference in Twist Face. Bad swings still produced bad shots. If anything it was shorter than my 917 and Epic.

Several Cobra drivers from 2012 thru the current F8 have had similar tech with the “canted bulge,” yet there's been almost no reported impact on consistency. If the Cobra canted bulge is any indication, the TM twist face will come and go with other gimmicks...

As others have said, it's 90% the Indian and 10% the arrow. No tech can make a huge difference.

But we will still buy into it! It's all about the marketing baby!

While it's true that a bad hit is still a bad hit, and nothing will help that, I think it's still quite possible for the guy who hits most shots fairly close to the sweet spot to benefit.

Of course, until we start getting some real world testing results, it's hard to say.

But I still have a hard time seeing anything beating out my 816 DBD in a significant way.

It was the same with my old TM Jetspeed. Nothing could beat that driver for 4 years until the Callaway drivers came out.

I don't know that the twisty will be any longer, but it might get everything a touch closer to the middle of the fairway

I hit the M3 about 6 or 7 times. Right head but wrong shaft. The hits weren't always great and they were spinny, but I might have missed one hypothetical fairway. I was impressed with the twist face.

That DBD was not good for me. Shows how important it is for folks to try them all.

Yeah my F5 isn't the most forgiving thing in the world. I hit a lot of toe hooks. I'm plenty long, but not often enough in the fairway. I wasn't able to do a head to head, but the forgiveness was noticeable.

I have an M4 driver and M3 fairway wood. Played a few rounds with them and spent some time on the range. Nothing shockingly crazy about them but you can tell some minor differences. I'm also going through some swing changes now so it's kind of hard to tell because of that. I like them a lot though and think most golfers will enjoy.

I have a question. How does anyone have the new M4 or M3 when they aren't available yet?? Or at least Taylormade website doesn't have them available for preorder yet. Just curious.

I was able to get the tour issued heads since those have been out for a little while on tour. There are some shops that specialize in tour issued clubs so those are the best bets on getting pre released heads. And eBay will have some at times.
