e11iot15
Titleist needed to do something. They have lost some ground with there tour ball. There is room to grow in the mid level 2 to 3 piece balls. Also think that the new colors of the velocity ball will improve sales. Just my thoughts Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

AWLBMW
My practice ball is Dt Trusoft, gamer is prov1/v1x. After great performance and value of dt tru, wouldn't buy tour soft, but play them if found. Was never really warmed up to nxt tour in general, since this replaces it, not tempted to purchase. Can't see short term gains over trusoft. Indeed, but I use DT Tru for practice. I never really like the feel of NXT or NXT tour. ProV or Z-star is my gamer ball. I like just enough click in a ball to be prevalent. If I did try another ball, it would be from a order direct company (snell, vice, cut) by way of a sample pack. At times can get decent spin via Dt tru, not urethane level spin, but awfully close, for me. xxio
I had same experience the TM Burner (non TP) ball circa 2008-2010. Very good spin for a non urethane ball on aggressive swings using good grooves but durability was terrible.
mesaman777
If you've never tried the Snell MTB you owe it to yourself to do so. I was a long time PV player and made the switch to the MTB about a year ago and never looked back. I still test and dabble and I will purchase and play other balls, but the MTB had been the king of the crop for me. 2 new balls coming out this year, the red and black. You can get the original direct right now for $25 a dozen free shipping. Sent from my LG-M430 using Tapatalk

ttucliffhanger
So I've been wondering about these balls. I play the Cut Golf Greys and was wondering where these play in. I have played the NXT-Tours but I don't see the point in paying more for something if you get the same thing for less. Golfspy_CG2
So tomorrow. I'm taking part in a conference call with the Titleist ball people including some of the top R&D team. I don't know the agenda. But I'll be happy to share whatever I learn (thst is allowed to be shared) I believe there will be a chance for Q&A. If anybidy has any questions (serious ones, thst won't get me kicked off the call) that you would like answered. I'll see if I can get one or two in. Serious question - Titleist is comparing the TourSoft, an ionomer ball, to urethane balls from the competition based on distance and feel. How does the TourSoft compare to urethane covered balls with regards to stopping power? Both on full shots and around the green?
