I think continuing with Julie is an excellent choice; she has proven her ability to lead and motivate the American players.   I think this is especially important because they will be playing on European soil and will not have the domestic fan support.   I still remember Julie talking with and encouraging Lexi during the single matches when Lexi was falling behind.   If I recall, Lexi ultimately tied the match.

Don't get me wrong, truly like Inkster but I think they need to give opportunities to some others that also are deserving.

The thinking here is if it ain't broke, don't fix it. My question to those who want a different captain, who are you going to get? Most of the other Solheim Cup stars from US teams past aren't old enough and the only one I'd consider is Christie Kerr, but she could very well play her way onto this team. The only other name is Patty Hurst, who's been with Juli as vice captain, but she seems a bridge between Inkster and Kerr as captains, so maybe she'll get 2021.

Interesting article on golf channel about her teaming up with LPGA/PGA/USGA to drive women's golf in the US. It's amazing to me to see all the dominance of Korean women in this sport. She had some good comments also about the sponsors stepping up to help drive women's golf.

The really good news for the American Solheim team is that Korea is not located in Europe.    Currently, I don't think it would be a good idea to have a LPGA version of the President's Cup.
